Abstract
يحوي الصمام المؤازر عنصراً صمَاماً يتحرك حركة دورانية بين أوضاعه المختلفة ليصل بين فتحات الصمام عن طريق تجاويف فيه. يتم تشكيل التجاويف بطريقة متماثلة على جانبي الصمام، حيث يمكن اختيارياً أن يفصل بين كل زوج من تجويفين متماثلين عصب تقوية به ثقوب للسماح بمرور السائل بينهما. تتكون ثغرات التحكم بين بعض حواف تجاويف العنصر الصمَام وحواف تجاويف مناظرة موجودة في عناصر ثابتة ملاصقة للعنصر الصمَام ومصممة خصيصاً لهذا الغرض. وتتكون مسارات السائل داخل الصمام من التجاويف في العنصر الصمَام والعناصر الثابتة المجاورة بما يوفر مقطعاً كافياً للسريان. تتكون كل ثغرة للتحكم من ثغرتين متماثلتين على جانبي العنصر الصمَام فيضاعف من مساحة التحكم ويوفر اتزاناً لمركبات قوى التدفق الجانبية. يتعرض كل جزء من العنصر الصمَام لنفس الضغط بما يوفر اتزاناً استاتيكياً. توفر الحركة الدورانية مساحات كبيرة نسبياً لثغرات التحكم من مشغلات خطية أو دورانية قصيرة المشوار. كما ويوفر العنصر الصمَام - رقيق التخانة ذو التجاويف - أقل قدر ممكن من القصور الذاتي اللازم لسرعة استجابة عالية.
