The innovation is that the bottle can be divided into several segments by means of the slide locking mechanism and that it can store various other items than other bottles. It can for instance also store cards, money, keys, jewelry etc. inside the bottle, between two chambers. It is also possible to attach more compartments and to extend the bottle, for instance with lunch boxes, storage containers, cooling bricks etc.
Thus, this provides multiple options and choices for the user. One can have two different liquids in the bottle as well, in addition to this it has a container for extra
powder/jewelry/pills etc. Bank cards, money and keys are safely stored inside the bottle between the segments while the bottle is in use.
The lid. on the bottle can also be used as a cup, due to the design of the lid. Diis makes the bottle useful, for bringing along on outdoor trips as well, in addition to as a drinking bottle and lunch box for children. The user also has even more color options, in that the bottle is put together by seven different segments.
The design of the locking mechanism enables easy assembly and di sassembly of the bottle segments, and an option to extend, the bottle with several containers.
The bottle consists of seven different segments, whereof 3 of these are shaped as a semi cylinder. These are attached by means of a slide locking mechanism, 'the locking mechanism should, be shaped such that it can easily slide into each, other in two directions, at the same time as it is locked in two directions.
In order to assemble the bottle, the first semi-cylinder shaped segment is slid horizontally onto the second and larger segment, which is then locked vertically. Whereas the third segment slides vertically into the first and second segment and locks all the containers horizontally.
In order for the third and second segment to be locked vertically a small ledge has been, shaped on the one side, and a small hollowed area of the same size as the ledge on the other side. This enables the segments to stay together and to be locked vertically.
In addition to these three parts, there are 2 screw on caps and 2 lids. The lids are identical and shaped as a quarter of a sphere, and at the bottom of the lid there is a rim which spans around the entire lid. This part protrudes slightly more down, such that the lid can be pushed down into a groove in the bottle and down on a gasket which seals the bottle. The shape of the lid will enable the lid to be used as a cup when turned. Ί he lid is attached to the bottle with 3 clips on the side.
The bottle can be used as a drinking/shaker bottle and tor storage of
drinks/food/fruit/powder/pills etc. The actual area of use of the slide locking mechanism is to attach and lock various compartments and chambers together in connection to the bottle and its segments, extra compartments and containers. Such as cooling bricks, lunch boxes and other types of containers for instance.
The bottle according to the invention is illustrated in:
Fig. 1 which is a front view of the open and disassembled bottle in all 7 segments,
E:ig. 2 illustrates a side view of the assembled bottle.
Fig. 3 is a perspective view of a first segment G on a third segment F.
Fig. 4 is a front view of the assembled segments FG.
Fig. 5 is a perspective view of the assembly of a second segment C on segments FG, Fig. 6 further illustrate the slide locking mechanism between the second segment C and the first and third segments FG seen from above in 3 cross-section (shown as 1-1, 11-11 and 111- III in figure 2).
Fig. 7 is a side view of the bottle's locking mechanism of lids BE on to segments OF. An. explanation of the assembly and locking mechanism follows: The starting point is figure 1 , and the result is figure 2.
The first segment 0 is horizontally introduced in the third, segment F, in that groove 12, slides onto groove 11 and is then locked vertically (the locking mechanism "12-11 ", has been shaped such that only horizontal sliding is possible. Shown in fig. 3.)
The second segment C is thereafter introduced vertically onto the first and third segments FG, by means of groove 6, which slides into groove 8 (the mechanism "6-8" has been shaped such that only vertical sliding is possible. Shown in fig. 6.) This action locks the second segment C and the first and third segments FG horizontally. Shown in fig. S. When the second segment C is attached to first and third segments FG, this creates at the same time a compartment. 10 in-between the second segment C and the third segment 1% which can. then be used for storage. The second segment C and the third segment F both locks vertically in that a ledge 9 on the third segment V, fits in a groove 7 found in the second segment C.
In order to attach lids BE, the !id is pressed with an extension .3 of lid down into the groove 4 found in the second segment C and third segment F. At the bottom of the groove 4 there is a gasket 13 as an extra scaling. Lids BE are locked to segments CF by means of clips 1 being snapped over clip fasteners 5. Screw caps AD are attached to the lids BE by means of threads 2.
