  • each string is anchored in the guitar tailpiece, is drawn along the guitar's neck and is wound on a peg, enabling the user to rotate the peg in order to tune the string by starching it. Due to mechanical limitations, usually the string is not tuned accurately as it should be.

  • the intonation-device is comprised of a set of cylindrical units as illustrated in figure 1 , a leg-device made of a flexible material as illustrated in figure 2 and both are installed together as illustrated in figure 3.

  • Each cylindrical unit (10) designed with three main parts.
  • Each unit has a disc (13) on the side of the narrow part and a niche (not shown), with the same dimensions as the disc, in the side of the wide part, enabling to connect few units columnar while each unit capable to rotate independently.
  • Each unit has, on the wide part (15), few holes (15) in which a user can insert a stick and rotates the unit clockwise or anticlockwise.

For that reason we have devised a dedicated belt anchoring device, the belt adaptor (41).

Abstract

Instrument à cordes, tel qu'une guitare, pourvu d'une pluralité d'éléments pattes pour maintenir les cordes de l'instrument, et d'une pluralité d'unités rotatives sur lesquelles sont montés de manière excentrique des éléments rotatifs pour entrer en prise avec les éléments pattes de façon à déplacer et ainsi accorder les cordes. L'instrument comprend également un châssis en acier d'un seul tenant s'étendant entre les extrémités opposées de la base de guitare de façon à doter celle-ci d'une rigidité améliorée.
