Abstract

The invention relates to a protective cover for lenses of any type of spectacles, formed on the basis of a thick and elastic fabric in a rectangular shape, although having rounded corners, disposed according to a fold over itself along the entire perimeter thereof, forming a channel through which runs an elastic cord. In this way, the described assembly has been conceived in order to cover the outer face of the lenses of spectacles of any size in a combined manner, by means of a single body that gathers over the external perimeter of the frame, based on a securing elastic cord.

Glass protective case of any type of glasses. Object of the invention

The present invention consists of a case to protect any type of glasses when they are not being used.

The present invention finds its scope in the optical industry.

Background of the invention

Both sunglasses and magnifying glasses are objects of widespread use that are acquired at a more or less relevant price. They are manufactured based on the combination of its two main elements, the crystals and its frame, both of which are delicate elements so that both use and handling, storage or transport presents the risk of breakage or that they are generated damage that can become irreparable, such as scratches on the glass.

The state of the art in the art, has numerous covers intended to protect the glasses, especially when transporting and when stored.

To this end, the known and commonly used covers are constituted by a substantially rigid body that is adapted to define a suitable interior space to fully accommodate the glasses. In the known covers, the body has two parts articulated with each other by means of a hinge element. Each of said two articulated parts has a side wall that it runs substantially throughout its perimeter. Thus, when the case is closed, this configuration of articulated parts with perimeter side wall defines a closed inner housing to completely store the glasses. There are also bag covers designed to receive the glasses inside. These cases, however, do not adequately protect the glasses as they are made of a soft material, such as cloth.

The main drawback of this conventional configuration is complexity. In the described configuration there is at least one hinge and said body formed by at least two pieces, molded with a side wall by its perimeter to define a closed interior space to completely store the glasses.

In the Utility Model of publication No. Title, respectively; 1123430, "Protective case for storing and protecting glasses" a simplification of the concept of glasses case is made that comprises a body adapted to accommodate glasses, characterized by the fact that the body is a continuous flat element adapted to fold over itself and defining an interior space for accommodating glasses, said interior space having open lateral ends and being suitable for housing the glasses 'crystals so that the glasses' pins are arranged on an outer face of said body passing to through said lateral ends.

Additionally, it is known to everyone as the use of a myopia, farsightedness, astigmatism and / or sunscreen goggle, it requires, in many cases, intermittent use in the time of the same, which makes us continually taking off and putting on our glasses, and even exchanging them with others, which makes it necessary for us to wear them in many cases even if we do not wear them with the inconvenience and / or risks that a spectacle in a pocket or similar generates. In these situations, the "Glass protective case of any type of glasses", brings a new use and concept of protection with respect to the state of the art that provides the following advantages;

• Constructive simplification, with the consequent savings in manufacturing costs.

• Adaptation to be flexible to any type of glasses.

• Easy transport when not in use, as it is not a rigid cover, but a piece of flexible fabric of negligible weight and that adapts to the place where Ό transport is stored, for example in a pocket.

• Use of the unprecedented proposed cover when protecting the goggles, in a very common position of the same as it can be by putting it inside a vest or shirt with the pin on the outside or when using a goggle provided with surrounding cords our neck and is fixed by its ends to each of the pins.

• Release the pockets of a spectacle with or without a case with the inconvenience that this situation generates, keeping the glasses accessible and, practically, without risk of deterioration.

• Less need for cleaning, adapting perfectly to the crystals reduces the situations in which the crystals can get dirty. In addition, in this way we reduce one of the critical zest moments, associated precisely with the glass cleaning, I mean, the less we undertake the cleaning process of the glass, the less risk of scratching. Finally, it is also possible to use the cover itself as a cleaning cloth.

EXAMPLE OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT SUPPORTED IN FIGURES

In view of the figures, it can be seen by way of example of a preferred embodiment, as the assembly of the "Glass protective case of any type of glasses" is arranged on conventional magnifying glasses. Thus in Figure 1, it is observed how the neoprene fabric (1) covers the entire outer load of the glasses, while Figure 2 illustrates how the fixation of said neoprene fabric (1) is undertaken on the outer frame of the glasses. glasses based on the effect of the elastic cord (2).

From the illustrated protection, it is evident that glasses can be used when their usual use is not required, such as with the pin inside the sweater or in the pockets of the shirt or pants that substantially reduces the risks glass grating or breaking the set.

It is not considered necessary to extend the present specification so that any person skilled in the art understands the scope of the invention and the advantages derived from its use.
