Abstract
The invention relates to a device (5) for the bullet-proof protection of an element (3) to be protected from at least one projectile (2) of a pre-determined type, having a magnetic sensitivity, projected by a projection device (1) of a pre-determined type, the protection device (5) comprising: at least one coil for generating a magnetic field (B2) proportionate to the intensity of a current circulating in said coil, and a current-generating device (12) that can circulate a current in said coil at at least an intensity predetermined according to the type of predetermined projectile (2) and the speed of the projection of said projectile (2) by said predetermined projection device (1) such that the coil generates a magnetic field (B2) allowing the prevention of the impact between said projectile (2), said protection device (5) and said element (3) to be protected.
