Detailed description of the invention
The present invention relates to a street sale, storage and transport system, easy to assemble, transportable on wheels, provided with protection / top and side roof, energy independent and foldable inside a compartment.
The system is designed to allow the transportation, exposure and sale of goods and services by street vendors and / or occasional exhibitors. The system allows reaching more strategic and appropriating sale sites, enhancing product exposure, facilitating the achievement of the basic sanitary conditions of sale and easily transporting the mobile shop itself and its goods.
Common experience teaches that the number of regular and occasional street vendors turns out to be very high and in rapid growth. Practical experience and studies show that the problems rising from street sale activities are similar regardless of the socio-economic and geo-political context.
According to the research of Herrera, 3% of the total Indian population lives of informal economy and 1 % of these are street vendors, i.e. more than 10 Ml of Indians. FIVA (Federation of Italian Ambulant Sellers) has estimated that street vendors (periodic and daily non-food ambulants) are about 60,000.
The system comprises a container, equipped with wheels and transport handles, from which are tilting horizontal shelves, having different sizes depending on the
need of work, and telescopic vertical structures, which can have different sections, on which are inserted the top and side roof. A photovoltaic panel is inserted on the mechanical structure, such panel being provided with a fitting and fastening device both to the roof and outside the main compartment. The photovoltaic panel will be connected to a device able to store energy and to feed a light source capable of illuminating the working shelf. The energy supply can also be provided with the supply of collateral devices (smartphones, led, radio, electronic devices like POS, etc.).
The system is based on the following components:
1. Main storage compartment
The compartment is allocated in the central part of the structure in the space between the two closed shelves. It is possible to divide the storage compartment in sections by adding units that divide it in further compartments.
2. Side handle for lifting
The handle is positioned on the long side and allows carrying the system by lifting it in order to overcome steps, obstacles or unevenness.
3. Vertical handle for transport on wheels
The vertical handle is extractable from the closed system and allows the transport using the wheels located on the base of the system.
4. Wheels
The wheels are placed on the base of the closed system, on the ends of the base in correspondence with the vertical handle (point 3).
5. Top roof
The top roof, positioned in the central compartment of the closed-system, may be composed of assembled panels or by a roll-up sheet. The roof is anchored to the
telescopic supports in extension by means of a coupling system.
6. Lighting System
The invention is equipped with a lighting system integrated into the structure and powered by the battery contained in the energy supply system.
7. Energy supply system
Said system consists of a movable photovoltaic panel that can be placed both on the faces of the closed system and on the top roof. In both cases, the panel will be fixed by means of an anchoring system.
8. Energy storage system
The energy storage system is positioned in the central compartment; it is able to collect the energy from the external sources (photovoltaic panel, electrical network, generator) and store it in a battery for supplying it, if necessary, for the lighting or for the power supply of any other device with low absorption.
9. Vertical telescopic structures
The telescopic structures allow placing the roof at a suitable height, adjusting the extension depending on usage. In the closed system, said telescopic structures are repositioned along the sides of the box.
The present invention has been described and illustrated in a preferred embodiment, but it is clear that the expert in the art sector will be able to make modifications and / or replacements that are technically equivalent without departing from the scope of the present industrial invention.
Each part of the system is realized with commercial components of easy availability and low cost.
Therefore, the invention in its entirety is industrially feasible.
