Description

Title of Invention SLIDING DOORS OR WINDOWS FRAME SET
Technical Field of Invention
Engineering as to the sliding doors and windows frame set
Background Art
In general, the sliding doors or windows available for sale in Thailand market are both sliding doors or windows set (made of 2 panels) and stacker doors or windows set (made of 3 panels). Both of them which consisted of fixed panel are designed to have a track attached at the bottom of the door or window frame. The rollers of the sliding doors or windows are placed inside the track for sliding back and forth. The sliding doors or windows may or may not have a furry seal to conceal the track namely Mohair on either or both sides of the support frame. Such design has some limitations against the function i.e. cleaning, which would reduce the life of equipment, such as the dust or dirt contained in the track where it is difficult to clean up. When the door or window panels are slid, the dust left in the track will stuck with the rollers and cause the sliding malfunction and damage, for example, broken nylon rubber, damage or deterioration to the track, door or windows panel or fall out of the track. If there is any liquid dirt seeps or sticks in the track, it would cause dampness and rust to some kinds of equipment and following by the leakage.
Additionally, the nature of design of such ordinary sliding doors or windows where the rollers are placed only in the bottom track while the top track function as to control the sliding. Therefore, they can be easily pulled out of the track in case of thievery.
Nature and Purpose of Invention
This invention is related to the sliding doors and windows frame set to support the installation of glass plate, insect screen, aluminum plate, or other plates, glass louver or aluminum louver or aluminum lath or metal lath, collectively referred to "pane". The aforementioned invention consists of the sliding doors or windows with 2 panel (hereinafter referred to "Eurosliding") or 3 panels (hereinafter referred to "Eurostacker"). These two types of sliding doors or windows have two invention modes namely standard mode and special mode for cyclone prone areas where the description is illustrated in the full detailed description of invention.
Eurosliding consists of one sliding panel and one immovable panel (hereinafter referred to
"fixed panel"). To open the doors or windows, the sliding panel will be pulled over in front of the fixed panel, and pulled back to the edge of the door or window frame in order to close the doors or windows. Eurostacker consists two sliding panels and one fixed panel. To open the doors or windows, the first and second sliding panels will be pulled over in front of the fixed panel, and pulled the same back to the edge of the door or window frame in order to close the doors or windows. The sliding doors or windows frame set can be assembled by combining. For example, combining 2 sets of Eurosliding to make the sliding doors and windows frame set with four panels or combining 2 sets of Eurostacker or making 90 degrees corner and so forth.
The invention of sliding doors and windows frame set will consist of specific fabricated aluminum pieces (with or without coating). All pieces will be assembled as the door or window frame where the sill is well covered. The top frame consists of aluminum pieces with the track for placing the rollers attached with the sliding panel for hanging the doors or windows. The bottom frame which is the sill will be made of plain aluminum pieces align with the indoor floor of the house, building or indoor place for convenience in cleaning. It is also assembled to the sliding panel with rollers hanging on its top where the frame is outside for water proof. Water seeping is prevented by Mohair. The bottom of the sill frame will have the support track drilled on the front side for drainage and to reduce dampness. The right and left frames are plain with the infill for the better appearance and water proof. The lock may be added as well. In addition, the frame of sliding panel or fixed panel will consist of specific fabricated aluminum pieces (with or without coating). All pieces will be assemble as the sliding doors or windows frame set which consists of sliding panel and fixed panel according to the invention steps to the four-sided frame sides i.e. top, bottom, right and left, with the space in the middle to insert the "pane", including the specific fabricated aluminum pieces so-called "glazing bead" of the four-sided frame. The assembly of the connection between the sliding panels or the sliding panel and the fixed panel, will be completed by the "interlocker" and "under hook" specially designed for the well attachment of each panels to prevent breaking in and removing of the door or window.
The connection between the sill and the indoor floor of the house, building or indoor place, will have the specific fabricated aluminum pieces (with or without coating) to conceal the gap between the indoor floor and the sill for the purpose of cleaning and for the better appearance.
The purpose of this invention is to upgrade and develop the sliding doors or windows frame set of the higher technology in order to reduce the disadvantage of the prior art and to increase the helpful choices for the public.
Disclosure of Invention
Figure 1 demonstrates the sliding doors or windows frame set of this invention for Eurostacker. It consists of first sliding panel (1), second sliding panel (2), and a fixed panel (3), which all panels are assembled in four-sided frame (4). Installation can choose a side to open. The sliding panel can be opened from left to right or right to left. Furthermore, there is fuzz or mohair (5) attached between sill and panel, which will be described in detail afterwards. Figure 2 demonstrates the sliding doors or windows frame set for Eurosliding. It consists of one sliding panel (6) and a fixed panel (7), which all panels are assembled in four-sided frame (8). Installation can choose a side to open. The sliding panel can be opened from left to right or right to left. When opened and seen from the outside, the sliding panel of both Eurostacker and Eurosliding will be overlapped in front of the fixed panel.
Figure 3 and 4 demonstrate that the Eurostacker will be installed with roller set (9) and Eurosliding will be installed with roller set (10) respectively. The sliding doors for both types will be hang from the top in order to facilitate the sliding back and forth.
Figure 5 demonstrates the sliding doors or windows frame set, which is behind the Eurostacker. The sliding panels and fixed panel will be installed on flush sill (11) and the sliding panel will cover the sill (12) with a proper fit in order to prevent water from the outside.
