Description

Disposable diapers
The present invention relates to a disposable diaper.
A disposable diaper having an outer layer sheet covering a front waist region, a rear waist region, and a crotch region of a diaper wearer, and an absorbent structure attached to the inner surface of the outer layer sheet is conventionally known.
For example, a pant-type absorbent article described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2008-194160 (Patent Document 1) has a pant-shaped outer layer sheet and an absorbent body attached to the inner surface of the outer layer sheet. The outer layer sheet includes a waist elastic member along the edge of the waist opening, a leg elastic member along the leg opening, and a waist elastic member forming a waist gather. The absorber is joined to the front portion of the outer layer sheet in the first joining region, and is joined to the rear portion in the second joining region. The waist elastic member forms a waist opening gather and the leg elastic member forms a leg opening gather.
A disposable pant (pull-on) body fluid absorbent wearing article described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-56747 (Patent Document 2) has pants and a liquid absorbent pad attached to the inner surface of the pants. Is elastically stretchable in the waist direction, and in the crotch region, the stretchable plastic film interposed between the inner sheet and outer sheet is intermittently bonded to the inner and outer sheets while being stretched in the front-rear direction. is doing. The front and rear end portions of the pad are joined to the front side region and the rear side region, respectively, and a part between the front and rear end portions is joined to the crotch region. In the wearing article before being worn, the stretchable plastic film contracts and a large number of gathers are formed in the crotch region.
According to the absorbent article described in Patent Document 1, kinking of the absorbent body can be suppressed even when the outer layer sheet contracts. However, such a worn article cannot prevent the absorbent body, which has become heavier due to absorption of bodily fluids, from dropping from the wearer's crotch and being separated from the skin.
According to the wearing article described in Patent Document 2, when the article is worn, the crotch area extending in the front-rear direction supports the pad from below, and the crotch area is firmly attached to the wearer. The front-rear direction contraction force generated in the crotch region acts so as to slide down the pants, but the stretch region in the waist suppresses the action. In the crotch region of such a wearing article, the shrinkage of the plastic film causes gathers extending in the lateral direction, which may deteriorate the appearance of the diaper.
This invention makes it a subject to provide the disposable diaper improved so that such a problem in a prior art could be eliminated.
The present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems includes an outer layer sheet that has a front and rear waist region and a crotch region and has an inner surface and an outer surface, and an absorbent structure that is attached to the inner surface, and the outer layer The seat is directed to a disposable diaper that defines a waist opening and a pair of leg openings.
The present invention further includes the following configuration. One of the inner surface and the outer surface of the outer layer sheet is formed of an elastic sheet that can elastically extend in the lateral direction of the diaper. In the absorbent structure, a front end portion located in the front waist region and a rear end portion located in the rear waist region are joined to the inner surface in an end joint region extending in the lateral direction, and the front end portion The intermediate portion interposed between the rear end portion is in a non-joined state where at least a portion located in the crotch region is not joined to the inner surface, or the lateral dimension relative to the end joint region. Is short and is in a state of being joined to the inner surface in an intermediate joint region located in the center in the lateral direction.
The disposable diaper according to the present invention can prevent the absorbent structure from sagging in the crotch region because the outer layer sheet elastically stretches or contracts in the lateral direction of the diaper.

The details of the disposable diaper according to the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, the following disclosure includes selective and preferred configurations as well as the essential configurations of the invention.
FIG. 1 is a view of the front of a pants (pull-on) type diaper 10 that is an example of a disposable diaper according to the present invention as viewed obliquely from above. The diaper 10 has an outer layer sheet 11 and an absorbent structure 12 (see FIG. 2) described later. The outer layer sheet 11 has a front waist region 13, a rear waist region 14, and a crotch region 15. The front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14 are welded to each other at a seam 18 in which the side edge portions 16 and 17 are intermittently arranged to define a waist opening 19. The front waist region 13, the rear waist region 14, and the crotch region 15 define a pair of leg opening 20. In the figure, the horizontal direction and the vertical direction of the diaper 10 are indicated by double-headed arrows X and Y.
The outer layer sheet 11 has an inner surface 21 and an outer surface 22, the inner surface 21 is a surface facing a diaper wearer (not shown), and the outer surface 22 is a surface facing a diaper wearer's clothes (not shown). It is. On the outer surface 22, a large number of gathers 23a, 23b, and 23c, which will be described later, are formed almost entirely. Most of the gathers 23a extend in the vertical direction Y.
FIG. 2 is a partially broken plan view of a state in which the seam 18 is unbonded and the diaper 10 is developed in the transverse direction X and the longitudinal direction Y perpendicular thereto, and the inner surface 21 of the outer layer sheet 11 can be seen in the figure. ing.
The outer layer sheet 11 can elastically expand and contract in the lateral direction X. The outer layer sheet 11 in the illustrated example includes an inner sheet 31 that forms an inner surface 21 and an outer sheet 32 that forms an outer surface 22. The inner sheet 31 is an elastic sheet that can elastically expand and contract in the lateral direction X. The outer sheet 32 is a non-elastic sheet that does not elastically extend in the lateral direction X, and is joined in a state where the inner sheet 31 is elastically extended. The inner surface sheet 31 and the outer surface sheet 32 can be bonded by an adhesive, for example, a hot melt adhesive, hot embossing / debossing, ultrasonic processing, or the like. In the joining at that time, the joining part of the inner sheet 31 and the outer sheet 32 is formed intermittently in the lateral direction X of the diaper 10 so that the elastic extensibility of the inner sheet 31 is not impaired. It is preferable to make it. In the outer layer sheet 11 in which the inner sheet 31 is joined to the non-extensible outer sheet 32 so as to be contractible in the lateral direction X in the stretched state, when the inner sheet 31 contracts in the lateral direction X, the non-extensible sheet There is a tendency to deform so as to draw an arc such that the outer surface sheet 32 is on the outside. Therefore, the diaper 10 using the outer layer sheet 11 has the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14 even in a natural state where no external force is applied due to the influence of the outer layer sheet 11 that deforms so as to draw an arc. The crotch area 15 tends to be rounded so as to protrude toward the outside of the diaper 10. The diaper 10 in FIG. 1 has such a tendency, and is less likely to be a crushed shape, which is preferable in appearance.
In the waist opening edge 33 extending in the lateral direction X in the front waist region 13 and the waist opening edge 34 extending in the lateral direction X in the rear waist region 14, the waist elastic member 36 includes the inner sheet 31 and the outer sheet 32. It is interposed in an extended state. Further, at the edge portions 33 and 34, the outer sheet 32 is folded back so as to overlap the inner sheet 31.
Both side edges 37 of the crotch region 15 of the outer layer sheet 11 are curved so as to be convex toward the center line P. In the crotch region 15, a leg-around elastic member 38 extending in an extended state along each of the side edges 37 is interposed between the inner sheet 31 and the outer sheet 32.
In FIG. 2, the outer layer sheet 11 formed in this way is gathered because the inner surface sheet 31 is elastically extended, and the waist elastic member 36 and the leg elastic member 38 are also elastically extended. 23a, 23b, and 23c are in a smooth state where they are not formed. On the other hand, in FIG. 1, a large number of gathers 23 a extending in the vertical direction Y are formed in the front waist region 13, the rear waist region 14, and the crotch region 15 by contraction of the inner surface sheet 31. In addition, a large number of gathers 23b are formed in the opening edge portions 33 and 34 that define the waist opening 19 by the waist elastic member 36 contracting. A large number of gathers 23 c are formed on both side edges 37 defining the leg opening 20 by contracting the leg elastic member 38.
FIG. 3 is a view showing a cut surface of the diaper 10 along the line III-III on the center line Q that bisects the longitudinal dimension Y of the diaper 10. 2 and 3, the absorbent structure 12 is attached to the inner surface sheet 31 forming the inner surface 21 of the outer layer sheet 11. The absorbent structure 12 extends from the crotch region 15 to the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14, has a front end portion 41 in the front waist region 13, and has a rear end portion 42 in the rear waist region 14. In addition, an intermediate portion 43 is provided between the two portions 41 and 42. The intermediate portion 43 is located at least in the crotch region 15 of the outer layer sheet 11.
As is apparent from FIG. 3, the absorbent structure 12 is formed by coating an aggregate of water-absorbing materials such as pulverized pulp and superabsorbent polymer particles with a liquid-permeable sheet (not shown) such as tissue paper. The absorbent core 46 is included, and the core 46 is covered with a wrapping sheet 47 formed of a liquid-permeable sheet such as a nonwoven fabric of thermoplastic synthetic fibers or an apertured plastic film to form an absorbent body 45. The absorbent body 45 is covered with a liquid-impervious plastic film 48 at a portion facing the outer layer sheet 11, and preferably a water-repellent or liquid-impervious and moisture-permeable cover sheet 49. The wrapping sheet 47 forms the top surface of the absorbent structure 12, more specifically, the top surface 45 a of the absorbent body 45, and the cover sheet 49 is folded at both side portions 50, and a part of the top surface 45 a of the absorbent body 45. Barrier cuffs 51 that cover the side portions 45b are formed.
The barrier cuff 51 is commonly used in the art and has a proximal edge 52 and a distal edge 53. The proximal edge 52 is a portion where the cover sheet 49 is folded, and the distal edge 53 is an edge portion of the cover sheet 49 to which the elastic member 54 is attached in an extended state. In the diaper 10 in the state of FIG. 1, the elastic member 54 contracts in the longitudinal direction Y of the diaper 10, whereby the barrier cuff 51 moves from the top surface of the absorber 45 to the direction indicated by the arrow D with the proximal edge 52 as a fulcrum. It separates and acts to prevent side leakage of excrement in the absorbent structure 12. In FIG. 3, the inner surface 21 of the outer layer sheet 11 and the lower surface 55 of the absorbent structure 12 facing the inner surface 21 are in a non-bonded state, and there is a gap between the outer layer sheet 11 and the absorbent structure 12. 56 can occur. Further, as shown in FIG. 2, the front end portion 57 and the rear end portion 58 of the barrier cuff 51 are joined to a wrapping sheet 47 of a liquid-permeable sheet through an adhesive, for example, a hot melt adhesive 59. Yes.
FIG. 4 is a view showing the lower surface 55 of the absorbent structure 12, and the outer layer sheet 11 facing the lower surface 55 in FIG. 3 is indicated by a two-dot chain line. In the absorbent structure 12, at least the wrapping sheet 47 and the cover sheet 49 out of the wrapping sheet 47, the plastic film 48, and the cover sheet 49 covering the whole or a part of the core 46 extend from the core 46 in the longitudinal direction Y. Then, the front end portion 41 and the rear end portion 42 are formed by overlapping and joining each other. End joint areas 61 and 62 are formed on each of the front end portion 41 and the rear end portion 42 by applying an adhesive such as a hot melt adhesive (not shown). The end joining regions 61 and 62 extend in the transverse direction X across the center line P, and at least 1/2 of the dimension in the transverse direction X in each of the front end portion 41 and the rear end portion 42 is in the outer layer sheet 11. The inner surface 21 of the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14 can be joined. The end joint regions 61 and 62 in the illustrated example extend in the entire horizontal direction X in each of the front end portion 41 and the rear end portion 42 and have the same dimensions in the vertical direction Y (see FIG. 1). . The intermediate portion 43 of the absorbent structure 12 is in a non-bonded state in which the absorbent structure 12 is not bonded to the inner surface 21, and can move in the horizontal direction X and the vertical direction Y in the crotch region 15 of the outer layer sheet 11. In other words, the absorbent structure 12 does not hinder the expansion and contraction of the outer layer sheet 11 in the crotch region 15.
In the diaper 10 of FIG. 1 in which the outer layer sheet 11 and the absorbent structure 12 are formed in this way, the crotch region 15 of the outer layer sheet 11 extends in the lateral direction X and is in a tense state. Then, the outer layer sheet 11 acts to support the absorbent structure 12 from below the diaper 10 by elastic force. Therefore, even if the excrement is absorbed and the absorbent structure 12 becomes heavy, it is possible to prevent the absorbent structure 12 from sagging in the diaper wearer's crotch. Therefore, the diaper wearer is also not prevented from freely moving the body by the absorbent structure 12 that hangs down.
In the diaper 10, as illustrated in FIG. 1, a gather 23 a is formed not only in the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14 but also in the crotch region 15 due to contraction of the outer layer sheet 11. However, since all the gathers 23a are aligned in the horizontal direction X and extend in the vertical direction Y, the diaper 10 is worn and the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14 are pulled in the waist direction. When it extends, the gathers 23a between the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14 become smaller or change so as to disappear. Further, when the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14 extend in the lateral direction X, at least a part of the crotch region 15 extends in the lateral direction X in conjunction with the front waist region 13 and the rear waist region 14, and the crotch region 15 The gather 23a also changes so as to become smaller or disappear. Therefore, when the diaper 10 is worn, it is possible to prevent an undesirable appearance that the gathers 23a exist only in the crotch region 15.
Furthermore, since the absorbent structure 12 is not joined to the crotch region 15 of the outer layer sheet 11, the movement of the crotch region 15 is not restricted when the diaper 10 is worn, and the crotch region 15 elastically expands and contracts. To be free.
In the diaper 10, a fiber nonwoven fabric such as a spunbond nonwoven fabric or a spunbond / meltblown / spunbond nonwoven fabric (SMS nonwoven fabric) can be used for the outer surface sheet 32 of the outer layer sheet 11. Or a sheet material such as a synthetic resin film can be used.
The inner surface sheet 31 of the outer layer sheet 11 is stretched by an elastic nonwoven fabric formed of elastic yarn such as polyurethane elastic yarn or a nonwoven fabric including elastic yarn and inelastic yarn by a gear stretching process or the like known in the art. An elastic sheet such as an elastic film formed of a thermoplastic synthetic resin having elasticity such as an elastic nonwoven fabric or a polyurethane resin can be used. These elastic sheets are, for example, bonded to a non-extensible sheet material for forming the outer sheet 32 in a stretched state 1.5 to 3 times to form a composite sheet, and then the composite sheet is cut into a required shape. By doing so, the outer layer sheet | seat 11 can be formed. In order to make the outer layer sheet 11 exhibit elastic extensibility, the sheet material for forming the inner sheet 31 and the sheet material for forming the outer sheet 32 are intermittent in the direction of the lateral direction X of the diaper 10. It is preferable to join by the joining area | region formed automatically.
In the outer layer sheet 11 according to the present invention, an elastic sheet can be used for the outer sheet 32. At that time, the inner sheet 31 and the outer sheet 32 can be joined in an expanded state, or can be joined in a non-extended state. Alternatively, an elastic sheet may be used for the outer sheet 32 and an inelastic sheet may be used for the inner sheet 31, and the outer sheet 32 can be joined to the inner sheet 31 in an extended state. Here, that the sheet material is non-extensible means that the sheet material does not substantially expand during the first attachment / detachment of the diaper using the sheet material. When the sheet material is extensible, when the sheet material is stretched for the first time when the sheet material is stretched, at least 50% of the stretched amount remains in the sheet material. It means that it is. The fact that the sheet material elastically expands and contracts means that in the first detachment of the diaper using the sheet material, when the sheet material is contracted after being expanded, 30% of the expansion amount remains in the sheet material. Means an amount of less than%.
As other members in the outer layer sheet 11 and the absorbent structure 12, those commonly used in the technical field can be used.
FIG. 5-7 is a diagram similar to FIG. 4 illustrating the embodiment. However, the absorbent structure 12 is shown without breaking. The absorptive structure 12 in FIG. 5 has an end joining region 61, an intermediate joining region 63, and an end joining region 62 that are separated from each other on the center line P. The dimension in the lateral direction X of the end joint region 61 formed in the front end portion 41 changes so as to decrease stepwise toward the crotch region 15, and the end joint region 61 has the first portion 61a. It has the 2nd part 61b and the 3rd part 61c. The first portion 61a is made in the same manner as the end joining region 61 of FIG. 4, but the second portion 61b has a lateral dimension X shorter than each of the first portions 61a, and a part thereof is a core. It overlaps with 46. The third portion 61c is on the center line P and straddles the center line P, but the dimension in the lateral direction X is smaller than the dimension of the second portion 61b, and the dimension in the lateral direction X of the absorbent structure 12 It is adjusted so that it does not exceed 1/4 of. The end joint area 62 formed in the rear end portion 42 of the absorbent structure 12 has a first portion 62a and a second portion 62b. The first portion 62a is made in the same manner as the end joint area 62 of FIG. The second portion 62 b straddles the center line P, and a part thereof overlaps the core 46. The dimension in the lateral direction X of the second part 62b is adjusted to be smaller than the dimension of the first part 62a and not to exceed 1/4 of the dimension in the lateral direction X of the absorbent structure 12. . Between the front end portion 41 and the rear end portion 42, in the longitudinal direction Y, the dimension of the first portion 61a in the end joint region 61 or the dimension of the first portion 61a and the second portion 61b is the end portion. It is adjusted to be larger than the dimension of the first portion 62a of the joining area 62.
In the intermediate portion 43 of the absorbent structure 12, an intermediate junction region 63 is formed at a portion where the center line P and the center line Q intersect. The intermediate joint region 63 crosses the center line P, but is adjusted so that the dimension in the lateral direction X does not exceed the minimum value of the dimension in the lateral direction X of the end joint region 61 and the end joint region 62. Has been. That is, in the example of FIG. 5, in the lateral direction X, the dimension of the intermediate joint region 63 does not exceed the dimension of the third part 61c and the dimension of the second part 62b. The absorbent structure 12 is stabilized in the position in the lateral direction X in the outer layer sheet 11 without hindering elastic expansion and contraction of the outer layer sheet 11 by forming the intermediate joint region 63. The third portion 61 c in the end joint region 61 and the second portion 62 b in the end joint region 62 in the illustrated example also operate in the same manner as the intermediate joint region 63.
FIG. 8 shows a state where the absorbent structure 12 of FIG. 5 is attached to the inner surface 21 of the outer layer sheet 11.
6 has the 1st part 63a, the 2nd part 63b, and the 3rd part 63c as the intermediate part junction area 63. As shown in FIG. In the absorbent structure 12 having such an aspect, the position of the absorbent structure 12 can be stabilized over a long range on the center line P without inhibiting the expansion and contraction of the outer layer sheet 11. Moreover, it can also be said that the outer layer sheet 11 when the intermediate part joining region 63 is intermittently formed in this way prevents the lateral displacement of the absorbent structure 12 in the worn diaper 10. For example, the movement of the ventral side of the outer layer sheet 11 is not easily transmitted to the absorbent structure 12 in the crotch region 15 and the rear waist region 14. On the other hand, the back side movement of the outer layer sheet 11 is not easily transmitted to the absorbent structure 12 in the crotch region 15 or the front waist region 13.
In the absorbent structure 12 of FIG. 7, the intermediate joint region 63 is connected to the end joint region 61 and the end joint region 62 on the center line P. The absorptive structure 12 can also be attached to the outer layer sheet 11 in such a manner.
FIG. 8 is a view similar to FIG. 2 showing a state in which the absorbent structure 12 illustrated in FIG. 5 is attached to the inner surface 21 of the outer layer sheet 11. However, the front end portion 41 of the absorbent structure 12 in FIG. 8 is made longer than that in FIG. 8 is overlapped with a part of the waist elastic member 36, and preferably overlapped with the elastic waist member 36 in an expanded state, an adhesive such as hot melt is applied to the outer layer sheet 11. It is joined by an adhesive (not shown), and the joined elastic member 36 and the front waist region 13 do not substantially expand and contract. On the other hand, the rear end portion 42 is joined to the rear waist region 14 in an end joint region 62 having a small size in the vertical direction Y (see FIG. 5). When the diaper 10 is in such a state, when the diaper 10 is worn, the absorbent structure 12 inside the outer layer sheet 11 has a front end portion 41 that suppresses the expansion and contraction of the outer layer sheet 11, The waist elastic member 36 located outside both sides of the front end portion 41 and the elastic member 36 located in the rear waist region 14 are extended and pressed against the wearer's abdomen. The absorbent structure 12 in such a state does not shift even if it absorbs body fluid and becomes heavy, or even if the overhang of the abdomen of the infant who is the wearer changes due to breathing or eating, the position in the abdomen Is stable and can keep its original position. However, the present invention can be implemented in such a manner that at least one of the end joint region 61 in the front end portion 41 and the end joint region 62 in the rear end portion 42 overlaps the waist elastic member 36.
