Abstract

The invention relates to a storage battery assembly (6) for a vehicle, said assembly comprising a metal-air storage battery (1), a treatment device (18) for treating oxygen-rich exit air (A) of the metal-air storage battery (1) and a control device (9), which is coupled to a sensor device (21) for determining the oxygen content in a compartment (19) of the vehicle and which is designed to control a ventilation device (23) in accordance with sensor signals of the sensor device (21), such that exit air (A) is introduced into the compartment (19) when the oxygen content in the compartment (19) lies below a pre-determined set value.
