Abstract

Unité de pliage (1) destinée à produire un emballage (2) à partir d'un paquet hermétique (3) possédant une partie principale (7), une partie d'extrémité (9) et une ailette (18) faisant saillie depuis ladite partie d'extrémité (9), ladite unité de pliage (1) comprend un transporteur (60) qui est chargé dudit paquet (3) et qui achemine ledit paquet (3) le long d'un chemin de formage (B), des moyens de pliage (24) qui entrent en interaction avec ledit paquet (3) le long dudit chemin de formage (B) pour plier ladite ailette d'extrémité (18) sur ladite partie d'extrémité (9), ledit transporteur (60) comprenant au moins un premier maillon (35a) et un second maillon (35b) s'articulant l'un par rapport à l'autre, ledit second maillon (35b) étant agencé en aval dudit premier maillon (35a) par rapport à une première direction, le long de laquelle ledit transporteur (60) avance le long dudit chemin de formage (B), lesdits moyens de pliage (24) comprenant une fente (40) qui est délimitée par ledit premier maillon (35a) et est conçue pour recevoir ladite ailette d'extrémité (18), lesdits moyens de pliage (24) comprenant en outre une curseur (72) fonctionnellement relié audit second maillon (35b) et mobile entre une première position dans laquelle ledit curseur (72) entre en prise au moins partiellement avec ladite fente (40), de manière à plier ladite ailette d'extrémité (18) sur ladite partie d'extrémité (9) et dans une seconde direction opposée à ladite première direction, et une seconde position dans laquelle ledit curseur (72) est désolidarisé de ladite fente (40), caractérisée en ce que lesdits moyens de pliage (24) comprennent en outre des moyens de maintien (180) conçus pour maintenir ledit emballage (2) tandis que ledit curseur (72) se déplace de ladite première position à ladite seconde position.
