Abstract
L'invention a trait à un procédé permettant d'obtenir de meilleures images sonar, qui consiste à envoyer dans une colonne d'eau cible des faisceaux sonar correspondant à des impulsions de signaux d'ondes entretenues (CW) et de signaux de compression d'impulsions (FM). Les réverbérations acoustiques reçues sont traitées pour générer des données d'image sonar correspondant aux signaux CW et aux signaux FM. Les données d'image sonar CW et FM sont ensuite affichées simultanément, de telle sorte qu'un ensemble de données image sonar en recouvre un autre. Des techniques d'imagerie situationnelle sont également décrites. Un système d'afficheur pilote comprend une interface utilisateur, un dispositif logique et un capteur de vitesse monté sur une structure mobile. L'interface utilisateur est conçue pour recevoir une entrée utilisateur et fournir un retour utilisateur, et le dispositif logique est destiné à recevoir la vitesse de la structure mobile en provenance du capteur de vitesse, générer des données d'image situationnelles correspondantes, et restituer les données d'image situationnelles par l'intermédiaire d'au moins un afficheur de l'interface utilisateur.
