Description

MOBILE PHOTOVOLTAIC GENERATOR GROUP.
The present invention relates to a mobile photovoltaic generator group.
Especially, the present invention is advantageously employed for producing energy to be used in the agricultural and/or civil field, to which the following description will make explicit reference without loss of generality, and takes particular account of the specific needs that the world currently requires on use of new technologies and tools increasingly linked to the electric power supply such as irrigation pumps, lighting units, groups of power suppliers, filtration units, desalinators and equivalents tools. Aim of the present invention is to realize a mobile carriage mounting on board a photovoltaic panels system, without incurring a plant rigid, heavy and inflexible for a purely agricultural work.
Another aim of the present invention is to provide a mobile carriage with photovoltaic panels system of easy locomotion and positioning to be placed in the different zones, so shortening extent necessary electrical connections protected according to fixed rules.
The invention described here is distinguished from others on the market in the first place for having directly affected the agricultural/civil field, in its design, paying particular attention to the strength of the structure and its simple use, not failing to meet the safety electrical demands, but above all one of a kind reserved for agricultural and/or civil need a predisposition to the electric accumulation.
The structural and functional characteristics of the present invention and their advantages over the known art will be clearer and more evident from the claims below, and in particular from an examination of the description that follows, referring to the attached drawings, showing the schematic of a preferred but non-limiting embodiment of a mobile photovoltaic generator group, in which:
Figure 1 represent a schematic lateral view of the mobile photovoltaic generator group of the present invention;
Figure 2 is a front view of the mobile generator group as shown in Figure 1 ; Figure 3 is a rear view of the mobile generator group as shown in Figure 1 ; Figure 4 is a plan of the mobile generator group as shown in Figure 1 ;
Figure 5 is a perspective view of the mobile generator group shown in a rest position;
Figure 6 is a lateral view of the schematic of the mobile generator group shown in an operative position;
Figure 7 is a perspective view of the mobile generator group shown in Figure
6;
Figure 8 is another perspective view of the mobile generator group shown in Figure 6; and
Fig. 9 represents an alternative embodiment of the mobile group of Figure 1 , shown on lateral enlarged scale view with some parts partially sectioned. DESCRIPTION
With reference to the attached drawings, with G it's globally indicated a mobile photovoltaic generator group according to the present invention for electric power supply to tools to be used in the agricultural and/or civil field.
The group G comprises a two axles mobile carriage 1 provided with two couple of wheels 2 supported by a chassis 3 (Fig. 1-8).
The carriage 1 also comprises means 4 for towings provided at steering end 5 of chassis 3 to be connected to traction means (not shown) such as tractors, trucks and equivalent, or even animals, completed according to the requirements of accessories for the proper trasportation and also including a parking brake system and eventually a service brake system (all not shown).
According to the alternative embodiment (road version) shown on figure 9, the group G comprises an axle mobile carriage 1 provided with only one couple of wheels 2, with the towing means 4 provided with jockey wheel 4a supported by a vertical pivot VP (liftable during motion) and with manual brake B.
The chassis 3 is adapted to support a photovoltaic panel-type system 6 which comprises a plurality of photovoltaic panels 7, each mounted on a frame F.
The frame F of each panel 7 may be realized in iron, or aluminum, or fiberglass, or
PVC or carbon fiber or stainless steel or equivalent materials.
According to figures 2,3, 5 and 9, the panels 7 of the system 6 are mutually pivoted via telescopic hinges 8 and hinges 8a in such a way that, in correspondence with a rest position K of the group G (see figure 1-5 and 9), said panels 7 are closed folded overlapping each other thus remaining inside the overall space of the mobile carriage 1 .
According to figures 7 and 8, the system 6 also comprises top actuator means 9 and bottom actuator means 10 (i.e. servo-system, hydraulical or mechanical or electrical or even purely manual,) adapted to act on said panels 7 of the system 6 for causing the opening of the panels 7 from folded position of the rest position K to an operative position Z, in correspondence of which position Z the opened panels 7 are arranged to define an opened plane P or "sail" adapted to fully capture the energy of sunlight. The plane P formed by opened panels 7 of the system 6 is also pivoted at the rear of the chassis 3 by the telescopic hinge 8, so that elevator means 12 provided on said chassis 3 are adapted to vary the vertical inclination of the plane P of the opened panels 7, in respect of the horizontal level: preferably but not limited to, such inclination varies preferably between 0 and 30 degrees (see Fig. 6).
Pulley means 1 1 , or alternatively rack means (not shown), for facilitating the opening of the panels 7 and acting together with said actuator means 9 and 10 are also provided mounted on the chassis 3.
The top and bottom actuator means 9 and 10 are operated and controlled by a control unit 13 comprises hydraulical means actuated by a solenoid valve provided within a housing 14; the control unit 13 is controlled and operated manually by an operator through button means (not shown). A box 15 is also provided for containing inside inverter means and charging means (not shown), while accumulator means (not shown) are located inside housing 14. On embodiment of group G shown on Figure 9, the housing 14 contains the box 15.
The chassis 3 of carriage 1 conveniently also is adapted to support operational tools T, placed inside the housing 14 of said chassis 1 and acting by the electrical power produced by photovoltaic panels 7 of the system 6, especially pumping means 16 for drawing water from sources and to be used for irrigation of agricultural terrains or similar needs, or even in case of fires, and filtering means 17 for filtering the water drawn in case of human needs.
According to a further embodiment not shown, desalinator means are prefably supported by the chassis 3 of carriage 1 for the desalination of salt water in case of use the group G for drawing water from the sea to be used for irrigation and / or for civil use and / or as potable water.
It's to be highlighted that the described group G is advantageously used for example by the Red Cross Service, Civil Protection Agencies, First Aid Units in case of disasters or during humanitarian operations and so on, for rapid and effective interventions. All the electrical devices are designed for outdoor use so well protected against adverse weather conditions.
In particular, the mobile generator group G as described appropriately equipped for the agricultural sector, civil industry, as revised in shape and size dictated by the user, has the following characteristics:
- It's equipped with a photovoltaic panels plan provided with mirrors of large dimensions;
- the full closing of the carriage 1 at rest position K is realized by protection system against external events, protected against any encumbrances;
- the carriage 1 , according to needs, may be preferably equipped with a system of solar orientation system on site, directly with automatic or manually, and with electric accumulators (not shown);
- the carriage can be realized using photovoltaic panels plan with power of 3 kW up to a maximum allowed capacity of a same carriage;
- the carriage being equipped with accumulators (batteries) and therefore may be considered a photovoltaic stand-alone, with no other sources of energy;
- the carriage may be advantageously also electrically connected (i.e. in parallel or in series) with other energy sources;
- the carriage may be also equipped with a energy power system provided with sun concentration panels;
- alternatively, the carriage may be also fitted with solar panels system for domestic production of hot water.
