Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif électronique qui comprend une application de cartographie, agencée pour fournir un trajet comprenant au moins une séquence de segments de transport successifs s'étendant entre un emplacement de départ et un emplacement de fin au sein d'une carte. Les emplacements d'affichage potentiels pour les représentations graphiques des segments de transport individuels dans une séquence pour un niveau de grossissement donné (5) de la carte sont analysés. En réponse aux emplacements d'affichage potentiels pour les représentations graphiques des segments de transport individuels adjacents qui risquent de se croiser, une représentation graphique fusionnée pour les segments de transport individuels adjacents est prévue à la place des représentations graphiques des segments de transport individuels. La représentation graphique fusionnée est ensuite affichée sur une portion de la carte au niveau de grossissement donné (10).
