Description
A FUNCTIONAL AND PLAYABLE LIQUID-MATERIAL CONTAINER
DESCRIPTION
Field of Invention
This invention is about a functional and playable liquid-material container that enables consumers to construct numerous items that have a firm fitting structure resistant to coming apart and of various designs such as ornaments, symbols or toys, after its liquid material content is consumed.
Consumers are able to construct items that have a firm-fitting structure resistant to coming apart and of various designs by screwing at least one body of the functional and playable liquid-material container on at least another body, and by interlocking one container cap with at least another cap.
Discussion of Prior Art
Nowadays, there exist liquid materials such as milk, juice, water among beverage and drinks consumed by consumers of every age and sex. Furthermore, these consumers use other liquid materials such as liquid soap, shampoo, cologne, etc., for hygiene and cleansing. Consumers acquire these liquid materials in containers. The consumers discard the empty containers by throwing them into trash upon consuming their liquid content. This invention provides various improvements to revamp the liquid-material containers and make them entertaining for consumers before and after consumption of their liquid content.
In European Patent EP 132 9394, a toy container for nutrients is described. The toy container described therein incorporates moving components, related to its toy function, which are affixed to its outer surface using hinges. It is also stated that the container appeals to children, and offers leak-proof property against leakage of food and liquids. However, the above-mentioned food and liquid container exhibits merely a toy form to consumers based on its outer appearance and its moving component.
In another improvement given in International Patent WO 961 6874, a container for liquid materials, which provides an entertaining usage for consumers to make Lego-like toys by interlocking a container body with another before and after the use of the product in the containers and which brings ergonomics by reducing the total volume through use of interlocking packaging used in packaging and shipping the containers, is described. However, the toy, constructed by the consumer by interlocking the male lugs on the body of the mentioned liquid- material container with the female cavities on another, is vulnerable to coming apart when shaken or in similar situations. Besides, consumers cannot construct a higher variety of toy designs compared to the invention described herein. None of the above-mentioned patents specifically illustrate a liquid-material container that has the features to allow consumers to make a firm-fitting structure resistant to coming apart and of various designs to make numerous items as described herein.
Brief Description of the Invention
The accompanying drawings illustrate embodiments of the present invention according to the best modes presently devised for the practical application of the principals of the functional and playable liquid-material container, and in which:
Figure 1 is a view of the present invention, functional and playable liquid- material container. Figure 2 is a view of the present invention, functional and playable liquid- material container, in which its cap is removed from its body.
Figure 3 is a view of the present invention, functional and playable liquid- material container, in a different size.
Figure 4 is a view of the body of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container, immediately prior to being screwed on another of its body. Figure 5 is a view of the cap of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container.
Figure 6 is a view of an item constructed from the caps of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container.
Figure 7 is a view of another item constructed from the bodies of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container.
Components of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container, are numbered as follows in the accompanying figures:
(1) Functional and playable liquid-material container
(2) Body
(3) Neck finish
(4) Hole
(5) Male stud
(6) Female cavity
(7) Cap
(8) Item
The present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container (1) compresing:
• one body (2)
· one externally threaded neck finish (3) at the top of the body (2)
• at least one internally threaded blind hole (4) protruding inwardly on the body (2) on which the externally threaded neck finish (3) is screwed by rotating the body (2) so that two containers are interlocked to create a firm- fitting item resistant to coming apart
The body (2) of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container (1), compresing:
• one cap (7) which is mounted on the neck finish (3) at the top of the body (2), and allows consumers to construct numerous items (8) of various designs by interlocking at least one of the male studs (5) on it with at least one of the female cavities (6) on a cap of another container and interlocking at least one female cavity thereof with the male studs on the cap of one other container.
The body (2) of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container (1), is made in various forms and different sizes of geometrical shapes. The body (2) is presented to consumers filled with a liquid material such as shampoo, fruit juice, etc. Upon consuming the liquid material contained in the body (2), the consumers can reuse the liquid-material containers (1) of similar- or different-sized bodies (2) by constructing firm-fitting items (8) resistant to coming apart.
There exists more than one hole (4) on the body (2) of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material container (1). The blind hole (4), protruding inwardly, is internally threaded. Another container's neck finish comes into contact with the hole (4), and by rotating this other container's body (2), the threads of the hole (4) engage with the threads of the other container's neck finish. In this way, consumers can construct a firm-fitting item (8) resistant to coming apart. Consumers cannot separate any two engaged containers by pulling them apart. The consumers dismantle the containers (1) by rotating the body (2) in the opposite direction when they wish to detach them from each other.
The cap (7) of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material (1), is mounted on the neck finish (3) of the body (2) in advance of the consumption of the liquid contained in it. There exist at least one of the male studs (5) and at least one of the female cavities (6) on the cap (7). Numerous items (8) of various designs are constructed by interlocking the female cavities (6) of the cap (7) with the male studs on another container cap and the male studs (5) thereof with the female cavities on the cap of one other container.
Consumers are able to construct a firm-fitting item (8) resistant to coming apart by screwing the bodies (2) of the present invention, functional and playable liquid-material (1). Furthermore, consumers are also able to construct numerous items (8) of various designs by using only the caps (7) of the container, while unconnected to and without depending on the body (2).
Various applications of the presently preferred embodiments described herein for the mentioned invention, functional and playable liquid-material container (1), are possible and cannot be limited to the embodiments described herein, and it is therefore intended that such applications be covered by the appended claims.
Claims
A functional and playable liquid-material container compresing: a body (2), an externally threaded neck finish (3) at the top of the body (2), at least one internally threaded blind hole (4) protruding inwardly on the body (2), and characterized by the fact that an a firm-fitting item (8) resistant to coming apart can be constructed by engaging two bodies by rotating the body (2) of one container as the threads on its neck finish (3) comes into contact with the threads of the hole (4) on the other one.
A functional and playable liquid-material container (1) as described in Claim 1, characterized by compresing a cap (7), which is mounted on the neck finish (3) at the top of the body (2), and which allows consumers to construct numerous items (8) of various designs by interlocking at least one of the male studs (5) on it with the female cavities (6) on the cap of another container and the female cavities thereof with the male studs on the cap of one other container.
