Abstract

The use of storage devices is known in the prior art. Myriad storage designs are described in the prior art which have been developed for fulfillment of countless objectives. Some of the known prior art storage device include: US Application No. 12/027380, US Application No. 13/286623 and US Application No. 08/426046. While these storage device fulfil their respective objectives, none of the prior art describes removable attachable storage system which permit the user to conveniently clamp the system on to a furniture artifact especially bunk beds and a system which is designed with either defined (holder cups) (1) or generic storage slots to place common objects.

Description

Removable Attachable Storage System And Methods Of Use

TECHNICAL FIELD

[0001] The present invention pertains to a storage system (2) fabricated for using the system as a removable attachable device with furniture artifacts.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] The use of storage devices is known in the prior art. Myriad storage designs are described in the prior art which have been developed for fulfillment of countless objectives. Some of the known prior art storage device include: US Application No. 12/027380, US Application No. 13/286623 and US Application No. 08/426046. While these storage device fulfil their respective objectives, none of the prior art describes removable attachable storage system which permit the user to conveniently clamp the system on to a furniture artifact especially bunk beds and a system which is designed with either defined (holder cups) (1) or generic storage slots to place common objects.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0003] In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the prior art regarding known type of feasible storage device, the present invention provides a new storage system (2) fabricated for using the system as a removable attachable device with furniture artifacts especially bunk beds. The system is designed with either defined (holder slots) (1) or generic storage slots to place common objects. Additionally, the system is designed to hold reading light stand (8) or similar devices by mounting the said device to the storage system using screw holes for nuts and bolts (5), (7) or like. The said system is mounted on to the furniture, example bunk bed using clamping knobs (3) having a hinge base (4) between the support bracket (6).

[0004] It is the primary objective of the present invention to provide removable attachable storage device for furniture artifacts.

[0005] It is another object of the invention to provide a convenient storage space along with a means for attaching reading lamps.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION

[0008] In the following description, certain specific elements are provided in order to understand the various disclosed embodiments. However, a person skilled in the art who read the disclosure, the drawings and the claims will realize that the disclosed embodiments can be practiced with or without one or more of these specific details or with other elements without deviating from the scope of the disclosure.

[0009] Reference will be now made in detail to the various embodiments of the disclosure; schematic representation of the invention has been illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Wherever possible, the same reference will be used throughout the description to refer to the same or like embodiments.

[0010] The present invention provides a new storage system (2) fabricated for using the system as a removable attachable device with furniture artifacts especially bunk beds. The said system can be mounted on to the furniture using clamping knobs (3) having a base (4) between the support bracket (6). This helps the end user to attach and detach the device in accordance to the occasion. The support member typically, not necessarily, affixes or suspends from a bed by extending horizontally above or beneath a mattress or by affixing to side rails of the bed. The said support system is adapted to affix to other furniture artifacts such as, but not limited to, TV trays or carts, tables and like.

[0011] The storage system is designed with either defined (holder slots) (1) or generic storage slots to place common objects. This feature helps the end user to buy the storage device according to his needs. Additionally, the system is designed to hold reading light stand (8) or similar devices by mounting the said device to the storage system using screw holes for nuts and bolts (5), (7) or like. This feature provides means for other attachable artifacts such as reading lamps to be attached so that the end user can use the storage device for multipurpose.

[0012] The clamping knob is an example for clamping the storage device to the furniture artifact but can include, but not limited to, complimentary magnetized components magnetic systems, suction cup, adhesive cement, hook and loop and like. [0013] Embodiments of the present invention include support members or interface members comprising material such as, but not limited to, metals, metal alloys, composites, polymers, copolymers, fabric, wood, plastic material, leather and like.

[0014] As to a further discussion of the manner of using and operating the invention, the same is apparent from the aforementioned description. Accordingly, no further description relating to the manner of using and operating the invention is necessary.

[0015] It is to be appreciated that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use are deemed readily apparent and obvious to a person skilled in the art and all equivalent variations to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.

Since numerous modifications, variations, improvements and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not considered to limit the invention to the exact described format of the invention or its manufacturing and accordingly all suitable modifications and equivalents may be falling within the scope of the invention.

Claims

We claim,

1. A removable attachable storage device for holding artifacts, wherein the said storage device comprises defined holder slots (1), reading light stand (8) or similar devices.

2. A storage device, according to claim 1 wherein the device is mounted on to the furniture, example bunk bed using rotatable hinge (3) having a hinge base (4) between the support bracket (6).

3. A storage device according to claim 1 and 2 wherein the device can affix or suspend from a bed by extending horizontally above or beneath a mattress or by affixing to side rails of the bed. The said device is adapted to affix to other furniture artifacts such as, but not limited to, TV trays or carts, tables and like.

4. A device according to claim 1 wherein the holder slots (1) can be generic.

5. A storage device according to claims 1, 2 and 3 wherein the clamping system can include complimentary magnetized components, suction cup, adhesive cement, hook and loop and like.

6. A storage device as set forth in claims 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 is fabricated from polymers, copolymers and like.
