Abstract
The invention relates to a compressed air engine, which is used in order to obtain a power (force, torque, energy, time) by converting the pressure of compressed air into energy, within a closed circuit through which it flows in order to operate on long term, producing mechanical work which is transmitted to the main shaft used as a mechanical power generator or for producing electricity by switching to an electric generator. The compressed air engine, according to the invention, includes an engine block in which is mounted a subassembly crankshaft-cams-rods-pistons-flywheel-toothed pulley wheel (A), on which is mounted a cylinders group subassembly (B) and an admission-distribution- exhaust subassembly (C), connected to a closed circuit circulating the compressed air, comprising air supply pipes (313), a cock (315), a manometer (316), an air actuator (314), which are all known; using the flywheel attached to the subassembly crankshaft-cams-rods-pistons (B), toothed pulley wheel (214) and toothed drive belt (298), the engine block subassembly (A) is connected to an air compressor (299) and an energy generator (312), or to an energy consumer, also known, thus creating a functional organic connection. Therefore, the issue existing in the state of the art is solved, meaning the engine can produce energy using an unconventional source.
