Abstract
A invenção refere-se, de uma maneira geral, a tubulações flexíveis usadas na exploração e produção de óleo e gás e, mais especificamente, a invenção está relacionada a um método de calibração para o monitoramento destas tubulações flexíveis. De acordo com uma realização da invenção, o método é aplicado a uma tubulação flexível que compreende pelo menos uma camada de armadura de tração, a camada de armadura de tração sendo composta de uma ou mais camadas que comporta pelo menos um arame metálico disposto helicoidalmente, dita tubulação flexível estando montada em uma conexão de topo que compreende uma janela de inspeção, o método compreendendo as etapas de: fixar pelo menos um sensor em pelo menos um arame da armadura de tração; induzir uma variação de temperatura no dito sensor e no dito pelo menos um arame; realizar uma leitura da alteração da variação de tensão sofrida pelo senso devido à variação de temperatura; e a partir da leitura realizada, identificar uma eventual falha.
