Description
本发明涉及液晶显示领域,尤其涉及一种调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法。
目前,液晶模组在生产过程中,总会存在一定程度的闪烁(Flicker)现象,闪烁值过大会造成观察者的视觉疲劳和不适,因此液晶模组在出厂前需要进行闪烁度调节,使画面的闪烁度达到预定的范围内,提高观看效果。公共电极电压(Voltage of Common electrode,V-com)是液晶模组面板(panel)端的一个电压值,由液晶的特性及液晶模组的工作原理决定,液晶面板驱动电路中存在一个正负偏转电压,公共电极电压需要设置在这个正负偏转电压的最中心点,通过调整公共电极电压的值,可以将液晶面板的闪烁值调整至最小,从而使液晶面板的显示效果达到最好。
最近几年出现了运用于生产线的液晶面板闪烁度自动调节系统,其原理是通过公共电极电压值的有效范围将公共电极电压值从低到高依次写入公共电极电压芯片的RAM(Random Access Memory,随机存取存储器),每写入一个公共电极电压值,量测一个闪烁值,所有的闪烁值中取其中最
小闪烁值对应的公共电极电压值写入公共电极电压芯片的ROM(Read-Only Memory,只读存储器)中,完成调节。这种方法虽然比手动调节快很多,但依次写入的公共电极电压值数量会比较多,耗费的时间也较长,闪烁度调节的效率并不理想。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,其能有效缩小公共电极电压值的调节范围,减少调节时间,提高生产效率,同时可以快速筛选出异常片。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供了一种调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,包括:步骤1、提供待进行闪烁度调节的第N片液晶面板,提供第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值;
所述N为大于10的整数;
步骤2、统计第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值的数学期望μ和标准差σ;
步骤3、设定公共电极电压值调校的初始范围(VL,VH),该初始范围采用正态分布原理确定,其中VL=μ-Mσ,VH=μ+Mσ,M为正整数;
步骤4、显示闪烁图案,将VH、VL、(VH+VL)/2逐一写入第N片液
晶面板的随机存取存储器并量测对应闪烁值;
步骤5、判断(VH+VL)/2对应的闪烁值是否为步骤4中所述三个闪烁值中的最小值;若不是最小值,则该第N片液晶面板为异常片,将其筛选出来,调校结束;若是最小值,则继续调校;
步骤6、将初始范围(VL,VH)内的公共电极电压值从低到高逐一写入随机存取存储器中并量测对应的闪烁值;
步骤7、选取最小的闪烁值对应的公共电极电压值写入第N片液晶面板的只读存储器,调校结束。
所述步骤1中的第1片至第N片液晶面板为同一机种。
所述步骤5是根据中值定理进行的。

本发明的有益效果:本发明将统计学分析方法运用到闪烁度调节范围的上限和下限设定上,通过对之前调节的N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值进行统计分析从而设定第N片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值调校的初始范围,大大缩小公共电极电压值的变化范围,提高闪烁度调节效率,大大提高生产效率;并且随着制程的不断改善,最佳公共电极电压值趋于稳定,即σ不断减小,区间范围也减小,所需要闪烁度调节时间进一步缩减,改善效果也越发明显;除节约调节时间外,本发明还可以快速筛选出闪烁度异常片。

请参阅图3至图6,统计了200片同一机种液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值,并在图3中绘制了第1片到第200片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值的分布折线图,并统计了每一最佳公共电极电压值出现的次数,绘制了图4所示的200片液晶面板实际调节最佳公共电极电压值的计数柱状图,从图4可以看出最佳公共电极电压值的分布是符合正态分布的,因此可以根据正态分布的概率原理设定公共电极电压值调节的初始范围。计算统计出的最佳公共电极电压值的数学期望μ和标准差σ,如图5所示为分布于(μ-3σ,μ+3σ)区间范围内的最佳公共电极电压值的正态分布曲线;统计最佳公共电极电压值分别出现在(μ-σ,μ+σ),(μ-2σ,μ+2σ),(μ-3σ,μ+3σ),
(μ-4σ,μ+4σ)四个区间范围内的概率,如图6所示,可以看到,当选取区间(μ-3σ,μ+3σ)时,99.73%的最佳公共电极电压值都落在该区间内,可以保证绝大多数液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值落在该初始设定范围内,实际效果如图7所示。
步骤4、显示闪烁图案,将VH、VL、(VH+VL)/2逐一写入第N片液晶面板的随机存取存储器(RAM)并量测对应闪烁值;
步骤5、判断(VH+VL)/2对应的闪烁值是否为步骤4中所述三个闪烁值中的最小值;若不是最小值,则该第N片液晶面板为异常片,将其筛选出来,调校结束;若是最小值,则继续调校。
如图2所示闪烁值与公共电极电压值的曲线关系图结合中值定理的原理,测量初始范围两端点及中点的闪烁值,如果(VH+VL)/2对应的闪烁值不是步骤3中所述三个闪烁值中的最小值,可以判断该片液晶面板最小的闪烁值所对应的最佳公共电极电压值不在设定的初始范围(VL,VH)内,不在设定范围内的液晶面板属于闪烁异常片,被筛选出来,调校结束。
如果(VH+VL)/2对应的闪烁值是步骤3中所述三个闪烁值中的最小值,可以判断该片液晶面板最小的闪烁值所对应的最佳公共电极电压值在设定的初始范围(VL,VH)内,则继续进行下列步骤6-7。
步骤6、将初始范围(VL,VH)内的公共电极电压值从低到高逐一写入第N片液晶面板的随机存取存储器并量测对应的闪烁值;
步骤7、选取最小的闪烁值对应的公共电极电压值写入第N片液晶面板的只读存储器(ROM),调校结束。
在实际生产中,本发明设定的公共电极电压调校的初始范围6σ约为18个公共电极电压单位,然而,如果不采用本发明方法,直接选取公共电极电压值的所有有效范围进行调校的话,公共电极电压调校的初始范围约为120个公共电极电压单位,因此本发明与现有技术相比可以缩减80%的闪烁度调节时间,大大提高生产效率。而且随着制程的不断改善,最佳公共电极电压值趋于稳定,即σ不断减小,公共电极电压调校的区间范围也不断减小,所需要闪烁度调节时间进一步缩减,改善效果也越发明显。除了节约调节时间外,本发明还可以快速筛选出闪烁异常片。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。

- 一种调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,包括:步骤1、提供待进行闪烁度调节的第N片液晶面板,提供第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值,所述N为大于10的整数;步骤2、统计第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值的数学期望μ和标准差σ;步骤3、设定公共电极电压值调校的初始范围(VL,VH),该初始范围采用正态分布原理确定,其中VL=μ-Mσ,VH=μ+Mσ,M为正整数;步骤4、显示闪烁图案,将VH、VL、(VH+VL)/2逐一写入第N片液晶面板的随机存取存储器并量测对应闪烁值;步骤5、判断(VH+VL)/2对应的闪烁值是否为步骤4中所述三个闪烁值中的最小值;若不是最小值,则该第N片液晶面板为异常片,将其筛选出来,调校结束;若是最小值,则继续调校;步骤6、将初始范围(VL,VH)内的公共电极电压值从低到高逐一写入随机存取存储器中并量测对应的闪烁值;步骤7、选取最小的闪烁值对应的公共电极电压值写入第N片液晶面板的只读存储器,调校结束。
- 如权利要求1所述的调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,其中,所述步骤1中的第1片至第N片液晶面板为同一机种。
- 如权利要求1所述的调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,其中,所述步骤5是根据中值定理进行的。
- 如权利要求1所述的调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,其中,所述步骤1提供第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值包括:对第1片至第N-1片液晶面板依次进行闪烁度调节,对每一片液晶面板进行调节时,直接选取公共电极电压值的所有有效范围从低到高依次写入该片液晶面板的公共电极电压芯片的随机存取存储器,每写入一个公共电极电压值,量测一个闪烁值,所有的闪烁值中取其中最小闪烁值对应的公共电极电压值写入该片液晶面板的公共电极电压芯片的只读存储器。
- 如权利要求4所述的调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,其中,所述步骤1中N优选为大于50的整数。
- 如权利要求1所述的调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,其中,所述步骤3中M小于5。
- 如权利要求6所述的调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,其中,所述步骤3中M优选为3。
- 一种调节液晶面板闪烁度的方法,包括:步骤1、提供待进行闪烁度调节的第N片液晶面板,提供第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值,所述N为大于50的整数;步骤2、统计第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值的数学期望μ和标准差σ;步骤3、设定公共电极电压值调校的初始范围(VL,VH),该初始范围采用正态分布原理确定,其中VL=μ-Mσ,VH=μ+Mσ,M为小于5的正整数;步骤4、显示闪烁图案,将VH、VL、(VH+VL)/2逐一写入第N片液晶面板的随机存取存储器并量测对应闪烁值;步骤5、判断(VH+VL)/2对应的闪烁值是否为步骤4中所述三个闪烁值中的最小值;若不是最小值,则该第N片液晶面板为异常片,将其筛选出来,调校结束;若是最小值,则继续调校;步骤6、将初始范围(VL,VH)内的公共电极电压值从低到高逐一写入随机存取存储器中并量测对应的闪烁值;步骤7、选取最小的闪烁值对应的公共电极电压值写入第N片液晶面板的只读存储器,调校结束;其中,所述步骤1中的第1片至第N片液晶面板为同一机种;其中,所述步骤5是根据中值定理进行的;其中,所述步骤1提供第1片至第N-1片液晶面板的最佳公共电极电压值包括:对第1片至第N-1片液晶面板依次进行闪烁度调节,对每一片液晶面板进行调节时,直接选取公共电极电压值的所有有效范围从低到高依次写入该片液晶面板的公共电极电压芯片的随机存取存储器,每写入一个公共电极电压值,量测一个闪烁值,所有的闪烁值中取其中最小闪烁值对应的公共电极电压值写入该片液晶面板的公共电极电压芯片的只读存储器。
