Abstract

Emergency Clamp for any Steel and Polymer Pipes without Cutting off the Fluid Current There is always the danger of the pipes leakage in the different facilities such as building mechanical room, refineries, vessels, submarines and even in water and fuel supply lines. The different causes such as hitting the sharp things, explosion, hard hitting or pipe corrosion can cause to emerge such problem. For fast and easy prevention from the leakage of fluid from pipe, a clamp was designed that without needing the disconnection of the fluid current and assistance of other persons, the operator can prevent from leakage and completely repair the damaged place, using the hardeners. Considering the lever system, even one person can easily install the clamp. It is enough to open the lever handle (1) of the connector, then two clamp jaws (2) are separated from each other. Now, put the pipe between jaws (2). After bringing forward two jaw heads, an operator can easily close the clamp lever and fasten it at the earliest time by the clamp lever. At this moment, the pipe leakage is completely sealed, regarding the existence of a plastic washer (3) in internal part of the clamp.

Description
Field of the invention:
The technical ground of this invention is related to the mechanics and polymer and enjoying these two new solutions, a new mother was innovated for leakage of fluid supply pipes.
Technical problem:
There is always the danger of the pipes leakage in the different facilities such as building mechanical room, refineries, vessels, submarines and even in water and fuel supply lines. The different causes such as hitting the sharp things, explosion, hard hitting or pipe corrosion can cause to emerge such problem.
In most cases, the pipe leakage cab be very hazardous and is followed a disaster. As a result, the acceleration in restoration of pipes is very important.
Background of the invention:
The leakage-preventing clamps have been already designed and used. But, the wrench must be used for fastening its clamp and this takes a long time and also one person can not do it, individually. Also, in many vises, the fluid current must be cut off for erecting the clamp. Also, regarding the system of the existing clamps, if the fluid pressure is high in the pipe, after installing the clamp, it may be probably leaked, too.
Summary of the Invention:
For fast and easy prevention from the leakage of fluid from pipe, a clamp was designed that without needing the disconnection of the fluid current and assistance of other persons, the operator can prevent from leakage and completely repair the damaged place, using the hardeners.

Description of Invention:
As specified in fig.la and fig.lb, considering the lever system, even one person can easily install the clamp. It is enough to open the lever handle 1 of the connector, then two clamp jaws 2 are separated from each other. Now, he can put the pipe between jaws. After bringing forward two jaw heads, an operator can easily close the clamp lever and fasten it at the earliest time by the clamp lever. At this moment, the pipe leakage is completely sealed, regarding the existence of a plastic washer 3 in internal part of the clamp.
It is necessary to say that considering the capability of regulating the length of the clamp lever as shown in Fig.2, it is possible to use the clamp with size X for a pipe with size x+1 and x-1, too. Another application of this lever is to regulate the rate of pressure of clamp jaws to the pipe so that the leakage is removed, completely.
Also, the installation mechanism of this clamp and the acceleration in this system has caused that no need arises for cutting off the fluid current in the pipe at the time of installation of clamp and leakage removal.
After installation of the clamp, it is possible to completely remove the leakage through injection of the epoxy resins and kinds of hardeners on the clamp as specified in Fig.3 and also to open the clamp from the pipe around. For injection of polymer, we should firstly open a small valve erected on the body of the one of clamp jaws and then to close the valve, after injection.

2- Without needing the peripheral tools
3- Without cutting off the fluid current for clamp installation
4- Complete sealing of the leakage place
5- Possibility of resin and hardener injection
6- Possibility of separating the clamp after using the hardener
7- Capability of using one clamp for three pipe sizes
Application:
This invention can be used in the different facilities such as building mechanical room, refineries, vessels, submarines and even in water and fuel supply lines and any other place using the steel and polymer pipes for fluid supply. These pipes may be always leaked for any reasons like hitting the sharp things, explosion, hard hitting or pipe corrosion. Using this invention, we can easily and quickly prevent from the pipe leakage and even repair it, temporarily.
Explanation of one executive method for using invention:
When an accident is arisen, the operator must open the clamp lever and close it around the intact part of the pipe for regulating the clamp lever. After regulating the lever, the operator must take the clamp to the leakage place and put that jaw of clamp which holds a valve for polymer injection on the leakage place and connect the clamp to the pipe aided by the lever.

2. According to claim 1, clamp has two jaws. They are connected to each other from one side.
3. According to claim 2, in other side, there is a lever handle and a connector.
4. According to claim 3, lever handle has capability of regulating the length of the clamp lever.
5. According to claim 4, lever handle can use for regulate the rate of pressure of clamp jaws to the pipe.
6. According to claim 1, there is a plastic washer in internal part of the clamp.
7. According to claim 1, there is a small hole to inject a kind of polymer in one of clamp jaws body.
8. According to claim 7, the hole covered by a valve.
