Abstract

The invention relates to a system for attaching carrying handles to shopping bags, and to the resulting bag. The system comprises a reel holder shaft for tapes, said shaft supported on two brackets that are attached to the frame of the machine, and one of which houses a crown wheel actuated by a piston which in turn controls a pinion located at one of the shaft ends. At another shaft, near the fusion and cutting unit, guide cylinders are arranged which align and guide the tapes toward the bags. Another shaft has annular caps which keep the plastic band for the bags in production aligned. The resulting bag comprises, on one of the outer surfaces thereof, two tapes extending longitudinally at equal distances from the edges of the bag, said tapes being joined to the bottom and to the opening thereof to enable the user to carry the bag over the shoulder, leaving the hands free.

OBJECT OF THE INVENTION The present invention falls within the technical field of machines that manufacture plastic bags for shops and details a set of elements that can be attached to said machines that allow an alternative transport system to the back to be selectively incorporated into the bags. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The use of plastic bags for the transport of newly acquired products, for example, is part of the daily work of millions of people so these bags have become one of the most present products in our lives.

If something characterizes the commercial bags, and in particular the plastics that are obtained in shopping centers, being the most widespread, it is its constitutive form in the so-called T-shirt format and in its always present advertising. But something else in them, even closer to the user, stands out negatively: the discomfort of its transport, both because of the damage that its weight causes to the hands and its incompatibility to perform any other action: take keys from your pocket, open doors of vehicles or homes, take care of children, hold an umbrella, etc.

Faced with such an exaggerated consumption of these bags, it has been tried to stop it by imposing a fee per bag or market bags of higher quality and durability so that the consumer, in the end, which is his goal, can take his purchase. But none of this seems to endanger the life and survival of the bags.

If something has been useful to put a fee to the request of stock market in any establishment, it has only served to cover an expense turning it into an investment since it has covered the deficit that it supposed, has allowed to improve the quality of the stock market and therefore, to improve its design benefiting the image of the establishment.

Regarding the damage that the user takes in his hands or the inconveniences that prevent him from taking any action while carrying his busy hands with these bags, nothing has improved. Possibly it is not up to the establishment or the distributor of bags to improve this product and the bag manufacturers do not have machinery that has the capacity, so far, to improve the product since they should bear costs of prototypes, tests, etc., which could not cover and that the manufacturers of machines are not willing to support because the studies and possible changes in their machines must be supported by specific orders that are not defined today.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION These inconveniences have led the applicants of this utility model to design an addition system, consisting of a set of elements, which allow incorporating tapes that are attached to the bag to provide it for the commercial bag manufacturing process. of an alternative transport system to the back without dispensing with the traditional hand-held system.

The tapes to be added are presented in the same way as the bags, that is, in coils, which forces them to be arranged on a support axis.

The shaft is supported on two suitable supports fixed to the machine frame to provide the assembly with a sufficient stiffness that prevents any involuntary displacement of the assembly.

Both supports are provided with semicircular seats where the bearings located at the ends of the shaft are housed. These bearings are provided with means for fixing the shaft to ensure its variability.

The shaft, in addition to the two bearings, is provided with other means that serve to fix the position of the tape reels, thus guaranteeing the bag margin where they will be incorporated. These means consist, first of all, of a central cylinder that separates both coils adjusted to the necessary measurement, so there will be a set of cylinders of different sizes, and second in two cylindrical stops provided with means for fixing to the axis that are located on both sides. of the coils, all of them hollow for axial coupling, by sliding, on the shaft. Finally, the shaft has a drive pinion at one of its ends that connects with a crown located on the outside of one of the supports, which in turn is driven by a piston that moves synchronously with the drag system of the bag coil in order to ensure that both coils are dragged and braked in unison.

The inclusion of the tapes in the manufacturing process of the bags requires that they cross the machine internally, from their initial feeding position on the shaft to the melting and cutting zone where the machine ends and the manufacturing process. This raises the risk that the positions of the tapes and bags do not keep the intended alignment, which requires that the system be procured by a corrective means that prevents unwanted variations. For this, the system uses a shaft mounted on bearings, adjacent to the fusion and cutting system, on which two turned cylinders have been inserted in such a way that they describe a guide groove on its periphery through which the ribbons run superiorly to, Immediately afterwards, tackling a second axis tightly by its lower part where it joins the plastic band that runs, similarly tight to the axis and behind the tapes, flanked by two annular bushes fixed to force it to hold the orientation.

In order for the cylinders to respond to the desired guide configuration, they have been turned into three different diameters. The outer ends of each one are presented as those of May diameter in the form of a perimeter ring that limits the central area, of smaller diameter, finishing the cylinder with a small neck-shaped extension that houses a screw to fix the position of the cylinder to the axis. The central area, that of May, has an independent ring, similar to the one carved at the end, which by means of a screw is fixed to the cylinder at the point concerned to give the track that forms with the carved ring, the width of tape that It is being used.

Guaranteed the positions of the plastic band and the tapes, by means of the systems described, it is ensured that then the passage of these plastic elements through the fusion and cutting zone, will result in an extremely solid fusion in which the tapes are not they present as added foreign bodies, but the bag and its ribbons are a unit.

Now the bag can be transported to the back without risk, with the same resistance as if it were displaced by hand by its conventional handles and acquiring a special role as advertising support since, now, its advertising is better seen and with greater clarity than when It is transported by hand. Also the built-in ribbons allow you to hang this bag and keep its mouth open while emptying or filling.

The new manufacturing system also allows to manufacture indistinctly with or without the new handles, just by bringing the tapes to the bag or not in the process of fusion and cutting.

The system is expandable being able to carry the axes as many games to fix and separate the reels of tapes and aligner sets as a reel plus include the manufacturer machine, so if a machine can work three runs at a time, with three coils, our axes will be extended occupying the entire width, enabling the system to meet the three runs.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION Starting from a machine that manufactures plastic bags, we have two supports (15) fixed on its frame between which we will install an axis (1) seated by means of two bearings (2) that fit and rest on semi-circular carvings ( 16) made for that purpose. Using a screw (17), which runs from the edge of the support to the bearing (2), these are secured against any rocking or cradling movement.

One of the supports externally has a stop adjusted to the carving (16), in the form of a closing plate, which prevents the leakage of the bearing (2) and the shaft (1) towards the outside, while the other support (15), at the height of the carving (16) for the bearing (2), and also on the outside, it has a crown and piston assembly (18) to which a pinion (3) located at one end of the shaft (1) is attached ), next to the bearing (2).

The piston (18) is connected to the pneumatic system of the machine to be synchronized with the piston acting on the coil of the plastic band with which the bags are manufactured, so that they advance or brake in unison. On the axis (1) described above, the tape reels (4) that feed the manufacture of bags with additional handles are inserted. Taking into account that the width of the bags is standard, the tape reels (4) are separated by cylinders (6) that meet these standards, using two (5) annular bushes provided with screws to secure them to the shaft to secure these elements. (1), which are attached laterally to the coils preventing variations in their position. In front of the fusion and cutting unit, we place a new shaft (10) bearing two (11) turned cylinders that constitute the guiding elements of the belts (8) through the track provided by their configuration. This is so by providing each cylinder (11) with a free-moving ring (14), which travels longitudinally between the central area of the cylinder (11), as opposed to a fixed ring that rises at the outer end of the cylinder , fruit of the diametral reduction made in the central area of the cylinder (11). Finally, to ensure the position of the cylinders (11) and ensure the invariability of the position and orientation of the belts (8), the cylinders (11) have an extension in the shape of a thin neck (12) where they are they place two screws of fixation to the axis, or similar systems of fixation.

Almost in the vertical of the previous axis (10) and below it, we place a last axis (9) that has two annular bushes (13), of variable position or free movement.

The belts (8) are attached until they pass through the upper part of the grooves, (configured in the guide cylinders and graduated to the same width of the belts), and through the rear and lower part of the shaft (9) located below, tapes are attached to the plastic band (7) forming the bags that passes through this second axis (9), tightly between the two bushings (13), thus correcting any acquired variation, before entering the fusion unit and cutting, by the plastic band (7) or the tapes (8).

1.
