Abstract
The invention relates to a mechanism for preventing the possibility of a user being viewed without consent through an electronic device webcam having image-transmitting capability. The mechanism comprises a lower piece (1), to be attached to the webcam by means of a suitable fastening system, an upper piece (2) having an opening (3), a shaft (4) coupled in said opening in order to enable said second piece to be turned relative to the lower piece (1), and a safety catch (5) to prevent the pieces (1 and 2) from separating from the shaft (4) or the pressure existing between the two from changing, such as to maintain a distance suitable for enabling said mechanism to operate perfectly.
