Abstract

A food container (100), which is made of elastic material, includes an open end (101) and a sealed end (102); there are one or more apertures (104) on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange (103) used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange is elliptical and its long axis is not equal to its short axis, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. The food container is normally in a flat shape or other non-circular shape, in order for matching with the mouth shape when placing the food container into a person's mouth to bite out food. After the food container is mounted onto other parts to form feeding apparatus, this inventive design has the benefit of always keeping the food container in a most convenient direction while handling the feeding apparatus. It facilitates the use of feeding apparatus greatly.

Food container and feeding apparatus
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
This invention is involved in a food container and feeding apparatus.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The food feeder, which is specifically developed for baby or inconvenient persons to take pieces of fruit such as pear, apple etc. or vegetable, jellies yogurt and minced meat, has been the important and proactive feeding apparatus for them. The PCT patent application PCT/CN2010/07074 describes the structures and benefits of the feeding apparatus. In this prior patent application document, it provides mechanism to specify the assembling direction of the food container: there is a notch or projection on the flange of the food container and there is a corresponding projection or notch on the platform of the first coupling member, so that the flat direction of the food container is rightly matched with the mouth shape while handling the feeding apparatus. This function is very important for baby and those inconvenient persons. But the solution of this function is single and lots of customers do not want such notch on the flange because of their worrying about its durability. The inventor of the prior patent application now develops more and better solutions for this issue and most of them do not include notch so as to provides improved varieties and functions of feeding apparatus products.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
This invention provides various new solution to implement the assembling position of the food container so as to improve varieties and functions of new feeding apparatus products. Food container is also sometimes called "sac".
One solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange is elliptical that its long axis is not equal to its short axis, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As the flange of the food container is elliptical, for assembling onto other parts, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The shape of the open end can be of any shape. One of the preferred choice is circular. It would be better that the shape of the open end is in correspondence with that of the flange, i.e. elliptical shape, so that the container can not only be feasible to be assembled onto other parts in a specified direction, but also make the width of the flange be consistent. Such solution makes the feeding apparatus look beautiful and enhances the reliability and durability of the container as the strength force is evenly effected on the flange.
Furthermore, the above solution can be improved by: the said flange includes an outer edge, at least one part of the outer edge is of straight edge. Such solution makes the flange shape be more unique, so that the container is more stringently constrained the direction to be mounted, which makes the assembling process easier.
The second solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange includes arc-shaped ring which have at least two arcs, and at least one of the arcs is in different shape and/or length and/or curvature and/or width from the other arcs, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As, on the flange of the food container, there is at least one of the arcs is in different shape and/or length and/or curvature and/or width from the other arcs, for assembling onto other parts, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The shape of the open end can be of any shape. One of the preferred choice is circular. It would be better that the shape of the open end is in correspondence with that of the flange, so that the container can not only be feasible to be assembled onto other parts in a specified direction, but also make the width of the flange be consistent. Such solution makes the feeding apparatus look beautiful and enhances the reliability and durability of the container as the strength force is evenly effected on the flange.
The third solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange is polygonal ring with multi laterals that at least one of the laterals is in different length and/or width from the other laterals, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As, on the flange of the food container, there is at least one of the laterals is in different length and/or width from the other laterals, for assembling onto other parts, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The shape of the open end can be of any shape. One of the preferred choice is circular. It would be better that the shape of the open end is in correspondence with that of the flange, so that the container can not only be feasible to be assembled onto other parts in a specified direction, but also make the width of the flange be consistent. As, on the flange of the food container, there is at least one of the curved laterals is in different length and/or width from the other curved laterals, for assembling onto other parts, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The shape of the open end can be of any shape. One of the preferred choice is circular. It would be better that the shape of the open end is in correspondence with that of the flange, so that the container can not only be feasible to be assembled onto other parts in a specified direction, but also make the width of the flange be consistent. The sixth solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the thickness of at least one area of the flange is different from that of the other areas, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As, on the flange of the food container, the thickness of at least one area of the flange is different from that of the other areas, for assembling onto other parts, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The shape of the open end can be of any shape. One of the preferred choice is circular. It would be better that the shape of the open end is in correspondence with that of the flange, so that the container can not only be feasible to be assembled onto other parts in a specified direction, but also make the width of the flange be consistent. The seventh solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes at least two curved shapes and at least one of the curved shapes is in different shape and/or length and/or width from the other curved shapes, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As, on the flange of the food container, at least one of the curved shapes is in different shape and/or length and/or width from the other curved shapes, for assembling onto other parts, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The eighth solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes one hole or two holes for assemble, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As, on the flange of the food container, there is one hole or two holes, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The shape of the open end can be of any shape. One of the preferred choice is circular. It would be better that the shape of the open end is in correspondence with that of the flange, so that the container can not only be feasible to be assembled onto other parts in a specified direction, but also make the width of the flange be consistent. Such solution makes the feeding apparatus look beautiful and enhances the reliability and durability of the container as the strength force is evenly effected on the flange.
The ninth solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes two or more holes for assembling, and at least one hole is in different shape and/or diameter from other holes; and/or at least one hole is in different distance to the edge of the flange outsider from the other holes to the edge of the flange outsider, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As, on the flange of the food container, at least one hole is in different shape and/or diameter from other holes; and/or at least one hole is in different distance to the edge of the flange outsider from the other holes to the edge of the flange outsider, its assembling direction cannot be at random, otherwise it cannot be assembled properly. The shape of the open end can be of any shape. One of the preferred choice is circular. It would be better that the shape of the open end is in correspondence with that of the flange, so that the container can not only be feasible to be assembled onto other parts in a specified direction, but also make the width of the flange be consistent. Such solution makes the feeding apparatus look beautiful and enhances the reliability and durability of the container as the strength force is evenly effected on the flange.
The tenth solution of this invention is: A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes the first identifier which is used to denote a direction of assembling, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. As, with the first identifier, while assembling the container onto other parts, the first identifier can be cooperated with another identifier on the other parts, so that the container can be assembled in a specified direction to avoid deviated angle of assembling which caused inconvenience for use.
Any combination of the previous ten solutions can be made to get various more solutions of this invention, so that the container can be assembled onto other parts at a specific direction.
With the previous described food container of this invention, various feeding apparatus can be developed accordingly. One of them comprises:
Any one of the previous said food container;
A first coupling member comprising a platform, and an opening in communication with the food container open end, the food container being engaged with the first coupling member;
a second coupling member cooperating with the first coupling member and movable between an open configuration allowing food to pass through the opening and into the food container, and a sealed configuration where the second coupling member covers the opening of the first coupling member thereby sealing the open end of the food container;
when the second coupling member is in the sealed configuration, the flange of the food container is adapted to be clamped between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member;
The shape of the platform matches with the shape of the flange, so that the food container can be mounted between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member in a specified direction.
Another solution of feeding apparatus comprises:
A food container as said in the previous tenth solution;
A first coupling member comprising a platform, and an opening in communication with the food container open end, the food container being engaged with the first coupling member;
A second coupling member cooperating with the first coupling member and movable between an open configuration allowing food to pass through the opening and into the food container, and a sealed configuration where the second coupling member covers the opening of the first coupling member thereby sealing the open end of the food container;
when the second coupling member is in the sealed configuration, the flange of the food container is adapted to be clamped between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member;
A second identifier is set on the first coupling member or on the platform, when amounting the food container onto the first coupling member, the said first identifier and the second identifier are used to notify the assembling direction of the food container, so that the food container can be mounted between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member in a specified direction. The inventive solutions of food container and feeding apparatus in this invention have the following advantageous effects: the food container can be mounted onto other parts at a specific direction. With variety of solutions, the customers have various options to choose based on their habits. The food container is normally in a flat shape or other non-circular shape, in order for matching with the mouth shape when placing the food container into his mouth to bite out food. After the food container is mounted onto other parts to form feeding apparatus, this inventive design has the benefit of always keeping the food container in a most convenient direction while handling the feeding apparatus. It facilitates the use greatly. Furthermore, the products with such solution would be more durability at least in the customer's feeling and more acceptable by the market because it is non-notch solution.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT(S
To make it clearer about the features, objectives and effects of this invention, the following gives detail description on part of preferred embodiments by referring to the drawings.
As in FIG. 1, it is the first preferred embodiment of this inventive food container. A food container 100, made of resilient material such as silicon, rubber, plastic or other food-grade resilient material, can be transparent or semi-transparent, color or colorless, the food container 100 includes an open end 101 and a close end 102; there are one or more apertures 104 on the close end 102; at the open end 101, there is a flange 103 used to mount the food container 100 onto other parts, this embodiment further includes foldable part 105. With the flange 103, the food container is assembled onto other parts to make feeding apparatus for babies. Since the close end 102 is in the mouth of the user to squeeze out food from the container 100, it is normally designed to be in flat shape. It would be better for use that the food container 100 is assembled onto other parts at a specified direction so that it is more feasible to use. So the shape of the flange 103 should have a special design.
FIG. 2 is the first structure of the flange shape of the first embodiment of this inventive food container, wherein the shape of the flange 103 A is elliptical that its long axis is not equal to its short axis, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. In this embodiment, the outer edge 1031 A of the flange is elliptical that its long axis is not equal to its short axis and the inner edge 1032 A is also elliptical that its long axis is not equal to its short axis so that the width 1033 A of the flange 103 A is basically consistent. FIG. 3 is the second structure of the flange shape of the first embodiment of this inventive food container, wherein the shape of the flange 103B is elliptical that its long axis is not equal to its short axis, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. In this embodiment, the outer edge 103 IB of the flange is elliptical that its long axis is not equal to its short axis and the inner edge 1032B is circular.
FIG. 4 is the third structure of the flange shape of the first embodiment of this inventive food container, wherein the shape of the flange 103C includes arc-shaped ring which have two arcs, and at least one of the arcs is in different shape and/or length and/or curvature and/or width from the other arcs, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. The inner edge 1032C is circular. In this embodiment, part of the width 1033C of the flange 103C is different from another parts. It is obvious that the assembling direction is definite for food container with such special shape of flange to be mounted onto other parts.
FIG. 5 is the fourth structure of the flange shape of the first embodiment of this inventive food container, wherein the shape of the flange 103D includes arc-shaped ring which have two arcs, and at least one of the arcs is in different shape and/or length and/or curvature and/or width from the other arcs, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction. The inner edge 1032D is elliptical. In this embodiment, part of the width 1033D of the flange 103D is different from another parts. It is obvious that the assembling direction is definite for food container with such special shape of flange to be mounted onto other parts.
Besides the above embodiments as from FIG.2 to FIG.5, it can be changed into other shapes. For example, the shape of the flange is polygonal ring with multi laterals that at least one of the laterals is in different length and/or width from the other laterals, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
As in FIG. 6, it is the second preferred embodiment of this inventive food container. A food container 200, made of resilient material such as silicon, rubber, plastic or other food-grade resilient material, can be transparent or semi-transparent, color or colorless, the food container 200 includes an open end 201 and a close end 202; there are one or more apertures 204 on the close end 202; at the open end 201, there is a flange 203 used to mount the food container 200 onto other parts, this embodiment further includes foldable part 205. With the flange 203, the food container is assembled onto other parts to make feeding apparatus for babies. Since the close end 202 is in the mouth of the user to squeeze out food from the container 200, it is normally designed to be in flat shape. It would be better for use that the food container 200 is assembled onto other parts at a specified direction so that it is more feasible to use. So the shape of the flange should have a special design. The flange 203 can adopt any of the above solution as described from FIG.2 to FIG.5, or other shapes.
FIG. 7 is the third preferred embodiment of this inventive food container. A food container 300, made of resilient material such as silicon, rubber, plastic or other food-grade resilient material, can be transparent or semi-transparent, color or colorless, the food container 300 includes an open end 301 and a close end 302; there are one or more apertures 304 on the close end 302; at the open end 301, there is a flange 303 used to mount the food container 300 onto other parts, this embodiment further includes foldable part 305. With the flange 303, the food container is assembled onto other parts to make feeding apparatus for babies. Since the close end 302 is in the mouth of the user to squeeze out food from the container 300, it is normally designed to be in flat shape. It would be better for use that the food container 300 is assembled onto other parts at a specified direction so that it is more feasible to use. So the shape of the flange should have a special design. The flange 303 can adopt any of the above solution as described from FIG.2 to FIG.5, or other shapes. In this embodiment, there is a recess 306 below the flange 303.
FIG. 8 is the fourth preferred embodiment of this inventive food container. A food container 400, made of resilient material such as silicon, rubber, plastic or other food-grade resilient material, can be transparent or semi-transparent, color or colorless, the food container 400 includes an open end 401 and a close end 402; there are one or more apertures 404 on the close end 402; at the open end 401, there is a flange 403 used to mount the food container 400 onto other parts. With the flange 403, the food container is assembled onto other parts to make feeding apparatus for babies. Since the close end 402 is in the mouth of the user to squeeze out food from the container 400, it is normally designed to be in flat shape. It would be better for use that the food container 400 is assembled onto other parts at a specified direction so that it is more feasible to use. So the shape of the flange should have a special design. The flange 403 can adopt any of the above solution as described from FIG.2 to FIG.5, or other shapes. In this embodiment, there is a recess 406 below the flange 403.
FIG. 8 is the fourth preferred embodiment of this inventive food container. A food container 500, made of resilient material such as silicon, rubber, plastic or other food-grade resilient material, can be transparent or semi-transparent, color or colorless, the food container 500 includes an open end 501 and a close end 502; there are one or more apertures 504 on the close end 502; at the open end 501, there is a flange 503 used to mount the food container 500 onto other parts. With the flange 503, the food container is assembled onto other parts to make feeding apparatus for babies. Since the close end 502 is in the mouth of the user to squeeze out food from the container 500, it is normally designed to be in flat shape. It would be better for use that the food container 500 is assembled onto other parts at a specified direction so that it is more feasible to use. So the shape of the flange should have a special design. The flange 503 can adopt any of the above solution as described from FIG.2 to FIG.5, or other shapes.
FIG. 10 is the sixth preferred embodiment of this inventive food container. A food container 600, made of resilient material such as silicon, rubber, plastic or other food-grade resilient material, can be transparent or semi-transparent, color or colorless, the food container 600 includes an open end 601 and a close end 602; there are one or more apertures 604 on the close end 602; at the open end 601, there is a flange 603 used to mount the food container 600 onto other parts. With the flange 603, the food container is assembled onto other parts to make feeding apparatus for babies. Since the close end 602 is in the mouth of the user to squeeze out food from the container 600, it is normally designed to be in flat shape. It would be better for use that the food container 600 is assembled onto other parts at a specified direction so that it is more feasible to use. So the shape of the flange should have a special design. The flange 603 can adopt any of the above solution as described from FIG.2 to FIG.5, or other shapes.
FIG. 11 is the first preferred embodiment of this inventive feeding apparatus. the food container 7 as said in any one from above described solutions;
a first coupling member 5 comprising a platform, and an opening in communication with the open end 71 of the food container 7, the food container 7 being engaged with the first coupling member 5;
a second coupling member 3 cooperating with the first coupling member 5 and movable between an open configuration allowing food to pass through the opening and into the food container, and a sealed configuration where the second coupling member 3 covers the opening of the first coupling member 5 thereby sealing the open end 71 of the food container 7;
when the second coupling member 3 is in the sealed configuration, the flange of the food container 7 is adapted to be clamped between the platform 54 of the first coupling member 5 and the second coupling member 3;
The shape of the platform 54 matches with the shape of the flange, so that the food container 7 can be mounted between the platform 54 of the first coupling member 5 and the second coupling member 3 in a specified direction.
According to the illustrated embodiment, the open end 71 of the food container 7, the outer surfaces of the first coupling member 5 and the second coupling member 3 are generally circular in shape. This prevents the trapping of dirt on the feeding apparatus and facilitates cleaning of the feeding apparatus.
The feeding apparatus may also be provided with a fastening mechanism for fastening the first coupling members 5 and the second coupling members 3 of the feeding apparatus in the sealed configuration. The fastening mechanism can strengthen the sealing between the first coupling members 5 and the second coupling members 3, and prevent accidentally detaching the first coupling member 5 from the second coupling member 3 and therefore dropping the food
After food is placed into the food container 7, a sliding part can also be used (not shown in the FIG. 11). About the sliding part, there are detailed descriptions in the Chinese suspending patent applications 201410004448.0 and 201410004524.8. Any one of the sliding part solution as described in the Chinese suspending patent applications 201410004448.0 and 201410004524.8 can be used in this invention. These two patent application documents are cited as part of this patent application. Because the first coupling members 5 and the second coupling members 3 seal the open end 71 of the food container 7, the sliding part will push the food to the close end of the food container after the user biting food out of the close end of the food container.
According to the illustrated embodiment in FIG. 11, the fastening mechanism may include a hinge 17 and a fastener 18. One side of the first coupling members 5 and the second coupling members 3 can be hinged to each other by the hinge 17. The other side of the first coupling members 5 and the second coupling members 3 can be secured together by the fastening 18. One end 181 of the fastener 18 can be movably connected to the second coupling member 3. The other end 183 of the fastener 18 may include a fastening hole for frictional engagement with a corresponding fastening projection integrally formed on the first coupling member 5. It is contemplated that the hinge 17 and the fastener 18 are simple in construction, and can make opening and closing of the first coupling members 5 and the second coupling members 3 easy.
Furthermore, this embodiment can be updated by adding elastic part (Not shown in the FIG. 11). After the first coupling members 5 and the second coupling members 3 seal the open end 71 of the food container 7, the elastic part can pass through the open end 71 of the food container 7 and into the food container. When there are enough food in the food container, the elastic part is compressed. After part of the food is bitted out of the food container, the elastic force of the elastic part will push the food to the close end of the food container. About the elastic part, there are detailed descriptions in the Chinese suspending patent applications 201410004448.0 and 201410004524.8. Any one of the elastic part solution as described in the Chinese suspending patent applications 201410004448.0 and 201410004524.8 can be used in this invention. These two patent application documents are cited as part of this patent application.
The foldable part of the above embodiments are described in this patent applicant's another Chinese patent application 201310175125.3, which is also cited as part of this patent application.
Other than used by the baby, the above said feeding device and feeding apparatus are also used by the inconvenient person for feeding himself, such as the disabled, elderly or sick person. These persons can feed themselves by chewing and sucking the food container. Also this inventive products can also be used in the weightless space environment.
The above description described some embodiments of this invention. But this invention is not limited to the above embodiments. These embodiments are for example only without limited the concept of this invention. For the ordinary person in this industry, he can makes many other embodiments based on the concept of this invention, which are all within the scope of this invention and are protected by this invention.

Claims

1. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange is elliptical that its long axis is not equal to its short axis, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
2. The food container as in claim 1 , wherein the said flange includes an outer edge, at least one part of the outer edge is of straight edge.
3. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange includes arc-shaped ring which have at least two arcs, and at least one of the arcs is in different shape and/or length and or curvature and/or width f om the other arcs, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
4. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange is polygonal ring with multi laterals that at least one of the laterals is in different length and/or width f om the other laterals, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
5. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange is curved polygonal ring with at least two curved laterals that at least one of the curved laterals is in different length and/or width from the other curved laterals, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
6. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the shape of the flange is curved polygonal ring with at least one curved lateral and at least one straight lateral, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
7. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the thickness of at least one area of the flange is different from that of the other areas of the flange, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
8. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes at least two curved shapes and at least one of the curved shapes is in different shape and/or length and/or width from the other curved shapes, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
9. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes one hole or two holes for assemble, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
10. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes two or more holes for assembling, and at least one hole is in different shape and/or diameter from other holes; and/or at least one hole is in different distance to the edge of the flange outsider from the other holes to the edge of the flange outsider, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
11. A food container, made of resilient material, includes an open end and a close end; there are one or more apertures on the close end; at the open end, there is a flange used to mount the food container onto other parts; wherein the said flange includes the first identifier which is used to denote a direction of assembling, so that the container can be mounted onto other parts in a specified direction.
12. A feeding apparatus, comprises:
the food container as said in any one from claim 1 to claim 10;
a first coupling member comprising a platform, and an opening in communication with the food container open end, the food container being engaged with the first coupling member;
a second coupling member cooperating with the first coupling member and movable between an open configuration allowing food to pass through the opening and into the food container, and a sealed configuration where the second coupling member covers the opening of the first coupling member thereby sealing the open end of the food container;
when the second coupling member is in the sealed configuration, the flange of the food container is adapted to be clamped between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member;
The shape of the platform matches with the shape of the flange, so that the food container can be mounted between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member in a specified direction.
13. A feeding apparatus, comprises:
the food container as said in claim 11 ;
a first coupling member comprising a platform, and an opening in communication with the food container open end, the food container being engaged with the first coupling member;
a second coupling member cooperating with the first coupling member and movable between an open configuration allowing food to pass through the opening and into the food container, and a sealed configuration where the second coupling member covers the opening of the first coupling member thereby sealing the open end of the food container;
when the second coupling member is in the sealed configuration, the flange of the food container is adapted to be clamped between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member;
A second identifier is set on the first coupling member or on the platform, when amounting the food container onto the first coupling member, the said first identifier and the second identifier are used to notify the assembling direction of the food container, so that the food container can be mounted between the platform of the first coupling member and the second coupling member in a specified direction.
