A spray dispensing kiosk adapted to dispense a deodorant spray or a body spray or a perfume spray in response to a request signal from a user, said kiosk comprising: plurality of dispensing tubes that extend from said kiosk; at least a body mapping mechanism configured to map a user's body while said user is in front of said kiosk; at least a locating mechanism configured to locate said plurality of dispensing tubes in response to pre-determined parameters and user- defined parameters or at least in response to signals from said at least a body mapping mechanism; and spraying mechanism configured to activate spraying through said dispensing tubes.

Description

A SPRAY DISPENSING KIOSK
Field of the Invention:
This invention relates to the field of vending and dispensing machines. Particularly, this invention relates to a spray dispensing kiosk. Background of the Invention:
A vending machine is a dispensing machine which dispenses items such as snacks, beverages, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery tickets, cologne, consumer products and even gold and gems to customers automatically, after the customer inserts currency or credit into the machine.
On another note, a deodorant is a substance applied to the body to prevent body odour caused by the bacterial breakdown of perspiration in armpits, feet, and other areas of the body/A subgroup of deodorants, antiperspirants, affect odour as well as prevent sweating by affecting sweat glands. Antiperspirants are typically applied to the underarms, while deodorants may also be used on feet and other areas in the form of body sprays.
Again, on another note, a perfume or parfum is a mixture of fragrant essential oils or aroma compounds, fixatives and solvents used to give the human body, animals, food, objects, and living spaces "a pleasant scent."
Vending machines and dispensing machines have proliferated in today's day and age. However, they are related to dispensing products of convenience. Widespread use of the vending machines also allows for advertisement opportunities, especially targeted opportunities.
In tropical climates with high humidity, sweat and perspiration is a nuisance which leads to body odour, unkempt appearances, and generally non-appealing smells. This creates a bigger nuisance while using public transports or going to work or meetings in public transports. The use of deodorant / antiperspirant / perfume lasts only a short time. One option is to carry these items for continuous use. However, this is cumbersome. ■
Hence, there is a need for an apparatus or a system or a machine or a tool which allows a user to be relieved from body odours or to camouflage the body odour with ease and convenience; especially on-the-go. Objects of the Invention:
An object of the invention is to provide an apparatus or a system or a machin or a tool or a kiosk which allows a user to be relieved from body odours or to camouflage the body odour with ease and convenience
Another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus or a system or a machine or a tool or a kiosk which allows provides an advertisement platform for deodorants / antiperspirants / perfumes.
Yet another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus or a system or a machine or a tool or a kiosk which serves as a test bed for deodorants / antiperspirants / perfumes.
Still another object of the invention is to provide an apparatus or a system or a machine or a tool or a kiosk which allows a user to be relieved from body odours or to camouflage the body odour at pre-defined locations of convenience.
Summary of the Invention:
According to this invention, there is provided a spray dispensing kiosk adapted to dispense a deodorant spray or a body spray or a perfume spray in response to a request signal from a user, said kiosk comprising:
plurality of dispensing tubes that extend from said kiosk;
at least a body mapping mechanism configured to map a user's body while said user is in front of said kiosk;
at least a locating mechanism configured to locate said plurality of dispensing tubes in response to pre-determined parameters and user-defined parameters or at least in response to signals from said at least a body mapping mechanism; and
spraying mechanism configured to activate spraying through said dispensing tubes.
Typically, said locating mechanism being configured to provide various degrees of freedom in order to allow for movement of said dispensing tubes in accordance with a pre-determined mapping pattern so that spray is targeted towards a user-chosen body part along with said sensed body map.

In accordance with an embodiment of this invention, there is provided a dispensing kiosk (12) adapted to dispense a deodorant spray or a body spray or a perfume spray in response to a request signal from a user. Typically, the response signal is initiated as a result of a payment made to use the vending · machine. In accordance with another embodiment of this invention, the kiosk is characterised with a plurality of dispensing tubes (14) that extend from the kiosk. (
In at least one embodiment, the dispensing tubes are flexible tubes / conduits / pipes which the user can handle in order to apply the spray of deodorant / antiperspirant / perfume to the body part of body area of their choice.
In at least another embodiment, a body map is used along with the tubes / conduits in order to pre-locate the tubes / conduits / pipes in accordance with a user's stance in front of the kiosk.
In at least one other embodiment, the tubes are pre-located at pre-defined points.
In accordance with yet another embodiment of this invention, there is provided a locating mechanism (16) in order to locate the tubes / conduits / pipes in response to pre-determined parameters and user-defined parameters. Various degrees of freedom may be advantageously provided in order to allow for movement of the tubes / conduits / pipes in accordance with a pre-determined mapping pattern so that the spray is targeted towards a user-chosen body part along with the body map that is sensed.
In at least one embodiment, a plurality of body mapping mechanisms (18) may be used in order to map a user's body while the user is in front of the kiosk. A sensor may sense the presence of a user upon initiating a response signal. The body mapping mechanism may map the user's body and allow the user to select pre-defined body parts or body zones or body areas where he or she intends to be sprayed. An analysis tool along with the body mapping mechanism adjusts the tubes / conduits / pipes according to the mapped body and user's choice in order to move the tubes / conduits / pipes along various degrees of freedom for its appropriate location.
A processor plots points along an operative longitudinal axis in response to inputs from a body mapping mechanism. These plotted points are where the dispensing tubes are to be located, along an operative longitudinal axis, so that it is located appropriately according to user's body height and width.

Still additionally, a third database may provide additional information per skin type in order to relay to a user the information relating to the skin type for trivia or knowledge purposes.
In accordance with still another embodiment of this invention, there is provided a display screen (22) adapted to be customised in correlation with the brand of deodorant / antiperspirant / perfume that is to be housed and used with the vending machine of this invention. Typically, the display screen comprises an advertisement module configured to display advertisements. A USB slot is provided in order to allow loading of advertisements to the kiosk and to be displayed on to the display screen.

The technical advancement of this invention lies in providing a spray mechanism adapted to be used with a kiosk, which kiosk can be suitably located at pre-defined locations in a city, and are adapted to provide sprays of perfumes / deodorants / antiperspirants, on demand in pre-defined quantity, thereby relegating the need to carry personal perfumes / deodorants / antiperspirants and also providing manufacturers with an opportunity to provide their offerings on a micro-scale and an automated service based model. The technical advancement further lies in the customisation of the settings of the spray mechanism in accordance with a body map and user selected body part(s) or body area(s).
While considerable emphasis has been placed herein on the particular features of this invention, it will be appreciated that various modifications can be made, and that many changes can be made in the preferred embodiments without departing from the principles of the invention. These and other modifications in the nature of the invention or the preferred embodiments will be apparent to those skilled in the art from the disclosure herein, whereby it is to be distinctly understood that the foregoing descriptive matter is to be interpreted merely as illustrative of the invention and not as a limitation.

Claims

Claims,
1. A spray dispensing kiosk adapted to dispense a deodorant spray or a body spray or a perfume spray in response to a request signal from a user, said kiosk comprising:
- plurality of dispensing tubes that extend from said kiosk;
- at least a body mapping mechanism configured to map a user's body while said user is in front of said kiosk;
- at least a locating mechanism configured to locate said plurality of dispensing tubes in response to pre-determined parameters and user- defined parameters or at least in response to signals from said at least a body mapping mechanism; and
- spraying mechanism configured to activate spraying through said dispensing tubes.

A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said locating mechanism being configured to provide various degrees of freedom in order to allow for movement of said dispensing tubes in accordance with a predetermined mapping pattern so that spray is targeted towards a user-chosen body part along with said sensed body map.
3. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said plurality of dispensing tubes are flexible tubes which a user can handle in order to apply the spray of said deodorant / antiperspirant / perfume to a body part or body area of choice.
4. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said locating mechanism being configured to pre-locate said dispensing tubes in accordance with a user's stance in front of said kiosk as determined by said body mapping mechanism.
5. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said dispensing tubes are pre-located at pre-defined points.
6. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, at least a sensor senses presence of a user upon initiating a response signal.
7. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said at least a body mapping mechanism maps a user's body and allow said user to select pre-defined body parts or body zones or body areas where he or she intends to be sprayed.
8. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, an analysis tool along with said body mapping mechanism adjusts said dispensing tubes according to said mapped body and user's choice in order to move the tubes pipes along various degrees of freedom for its appropriate location.

A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising at least a processor configured to plot points along an operative longitudinal axis in response to inputs from a body mapping mechanism characterised in that said plotted points are where the dispensing tubes are to be located, along an operative longitudinal axis, so that it is located appropriately according to user's body height and width.

A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising at least a processor configured to plot points along an operative latitudinal axis in response to inputs from a body mapping mechanism characterised in that said plotted points are where the dispensing tubes are to be located, along an operative latitudinal axis, so that it is located appropriately according to user's body height and width.

A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising at least a skin sensing mechanism configured to sense skin type in accordance with pre-defined parameters of sensing, said skin sensing mechanism comprising various skin-related sensors for instantaneous skin- type detection.

A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising at least a recommendation database comprising a list of deodorants / antiperspirants / perfumes that are available at said kiosk and which are tagged with a skin type in order to enable said kiosk to recommend a deodorant / antiperspirant / perfume depending upon skin type and pre-defined rules of recommendation.
13. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising at least a recommendation database comprising a list of celebrities in order to provide information to a user as to which of said celebrities' skin types closely resemble said user's skin type.
14. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising additional information per skin type in order to relay to said user information relating to skin type for trivia or knowledge purposes.
15. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising at least a display screen configured to be customised in correlation with a brand of deodorant / antiperspirant / perfume that is to be housed and used with said kiosk.
16. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk comprising at least an advertisement module configured to display advertisements.
17. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk is a wall-mounted kiosk.
18. A spray dispensing kiosk as claimed in claim 1 wherein, said kiosk is a box-type kiosk configured to be mounted on a wall.
