Description

COUPLING AND SEALING APPARATUS
DESCRIPTION
The Related Art
The invention relates to easy coupling and sealing apparatus used in conveying and transfer operations of natural gas, water, and other fluid substances in industry, workshop, houses etc. places, comprising stainless flexible pipe flexible metal transfer component connecting piece and specially developed retainer inner piece used within this connecting piece.
The Prior Art
In the known status of the art, coupling of stainless flexible pipes used in conveying and transfer operations of natural gas, water, and other fluids were made with engagement of several pieces with each other, wherein these pieces are produced by segment and pultrusion or by other ways.
These problems encountered in assembly operations were causing loss of time and increasing the possibility of failure during these operations.
In the patent no 2013/03902 given for the purpose of avoiding these failures, these problems are solved, novelty about coupling and sealing apparatus is disclosed. In addition to the patent no 2013/03902, the present invention is developed by providing a novel form wherein the retainer inner piece is in complete circular form and is not easily removed from the nipple.
Purpose of the Invention
The present invention is developed in order to overcome all of the above given problems.
A purpose of the invention is to eliminate the risk of failure and enable making the assembly operation in short time and with ease. A purpose of the invention is to have retainer inner piece, which comprises retainer inner piece having lugs that retain the pipe from inside and after being assembled, opens the lugs with the help of an apparatus and thus prevents their removal from the pipe.
A purpose of the invention is to form the retainer inner piece as a result of shaping of flat metal piece and to be usable with various different locking forms after taking a circular form with the help of a special apparatus following being assembled.
A purpose of the invention is to be usable in pipes with an outer diameter ranging between 6 to 50 mm.
A purpose of the invention is to have circlip that is removed following the first assembly of the pipe.
A purpose of the invention is to have retainer inner piece made of metal material with special elasticity which forms a secure system with a special form.
A purpose of the invention is to crush the tip of the pipe by means of tightening the nut with a special spanner following removal of the circlip and thus improve sealing safety.
A purpose of the invention is to provide safe grounding operation by minimizing possible arc situation by means of the appropriate level of electric conductance.
A purpose of the invention is to be durable against high temperatures and have very high melting point.

In this detailed description, the system of the invention will only be disclosed for better understanding of the subject without forming any limiting effect.
Retainer inner piece (3) is produced in flat form. Special forms found at the tips are brought into circular form by means of the female locking form (9) and male locking form (10), engaged into each other with a special apparatus and thus the locking operation is performed. Before the assembly operation, retainer inner piece (3) is attached into the nipple (5) piece; the lugs (8) found on the retainer inner piece (3) are opened with a special apparatus and placed into the channel within the nipple (5) as shown in Figure- . In this way, the retainer inner piece (3) is fixed within the nipple (5), where it makes rotating motion easily while being fixed within the nipple (5).
The cover (7) part found on the flexible pipe (1) to be assembled is stripped from the number of lines and flexible pipes (1 ) according to the manufacturer's instructions. The flexible pipe (1) found on the stripped part is manually attached to the nipple (5) easily and the retainer inner piece (3) found at the inner part fixes and locks the flexible pipe (1 ). At this stage, the important point is that no white part would be seen following attachment of the cover-stripped (7) flexible pipe (1 ) at the nipple (5). Following completion of this operation, the circlip (6) is removed and the nut (2) is tightened with snapper until it leans on the nipple (5) and the flexible pipe (1 ) is crushed within the nipple (5), and thus the flexible pipe (1 ) is fixed within the nipple (5) and also gains sealing property.
The protection area of this application has been specified under claims and cannot be limited to the descriptions only given as sampling above. It is obvious that a person skilled in the related art can apply the innovation disclosed by this invention into similar purposed other areas by means of changing the parts in form and using similar structures. Therefore, it is also clear that such embodiments lack of innovation criteria and especially the criteria of exceeding the known status of the art.
