La présente invention concerne une capsule de voyage flottante servant à mesurer la ligne d'écoulement et le débit et, plus particulièrement, une capsule de voyage flottante montée sur un module GPS servant à mesurer la ligne d'écoulement et le débit, comprenant : un substrat (10) installé à demeure horizontalement dans un espace d'agencement dans un boîtier (60) et ayant des éléments montés dessus; un récepteur GPS (20) monté sur le côté supérieur du substrat (10); une unité de commande (30), montée sur le substrat (10), servant à recevoir des informations de localisation provenant du récepteur GPS (20) et à mémoriser les informations de localisation dans une carte mémoire (40); la carte mémoire (40), ladite carte mémoire étant montée sur le côté inférieur ou sur le côté supérieur du substrat (10) et connectée à l'unité (30) de commande pour mémoriser des informations temporelles et des informations de localisation GPS en son sein; une batterie (50) connectée à l'unité de commande (30), au récepteur GPS (20) ou à la carte mémoire (40) pour fournir une alimentation; et le boîtier (60), ledit boîtier formant un espace d'agencement dans lequel sont disposés le substrat (10) et la batterie (50), un boîtier supérieur (61) et un boîtier inférieur (65) étant couplés amovible l'un à l'autre.
