La présente invention se rapporte à un lave-vaisselle (1) comprenant un corps (2) ayant deux parois latérales (3) ; une porte (4) offrant un accès à l'intérieur du corps (2) ; au moins une grille (5) sur laquelle sont placés les articles à laver, ayant une position de lavage dans laquelle la grille (5) se trouve entièrement à l'intérieur du corps (2), et une position de chargement/déchargement dans laquelle la grille (5) est partiellement amenée à l'extérieur du corps (2) en étant tirée vers l'avant, et un moyen d'élévation (6) qui permet à la grille (5) dans la position de chargement/déchargement de se déplacer dans la direction verticale et qui comporte au moins un bras de levage (7) permettant à la grille (5) d'être supportée en s'étendant dans la direction horizontale depuis les parois latérales (3).
