La solution technique résout le problème de la difficulté à utiliser dans des endroits mal éclairés un connecteur périphérique de dispositifs numériques et de dispositifs terminaux, réduit le risque de ne pas réussir à insérer délicatement le connecteur du premier coup, protège les dispositifs munis d'un connecteur de ce type et permet d'obtenir un effet esthétique.
