Description

HEADPHONE CABLE ORGANIZER Technical Field
The present invention belongs to the technical field of cable management and relates to headphone cable organizer, which allows to easily wrap the unused headphone cable to avoid unnecessary cable entanglement
Background Art
There are many different types of mobile electronic devices produced worldwide, which can be listened through headphones. Headphones are connected to a special link on many mobile electronic devices (as mobile phones, tablet computers, mobile audio and video players, dictaphones and the like) to allow the user to freely listen to telephone conversations, phonograms or watch audiovisual works while moving. Normally, a problem occurs when the electronic devices are not being used and the cable disorderly entangles (knots/bundles form, etc.), which results in having to untangle the cables and prepare the headphones for using them again and it is time consuming. The above mentioned electronic devices cable entanglement and its untangling reduce the attractiveness of the usage of the headphones of the mobile devices and discomfort the user. Various existing headphone cable organizers differ in their structure, the method that the cable is wrapped around them and they are not multifunctional for not being suitable for all type of devices.
The purpose of this invention is a headphone cable organizer, which would allow to quickly and simply wrap all headphone cable or part of it for the cable not to entangle, and which would allow to easily unwrap the cable or part of if to start using the headphones promptly.
Patent No. US2013126661, published on May 23, 2013, describes headphone cable organizer, which has two inverted L-shaped axially rotating holders mounted on its base within a certain distance from one another, around which the headphone cable is wrapped. This organizer is not mounted on mobile device or headphones, therefore it is not comfortable to use, because the user has to carry it separately.
Patent No. KR20130073420, published on July 3, 2013, describes U-shaped headphone cable organizer, which is (with its both ends) firmly mounted to the upper part of the mobile phone back and can be bent at right angle. Headphone cable is wrapped around this type of cable organizer and it is pressed to the mobile phone back. This type of cable organizer is not practical, because usually it is impossible to take it from the device as well as it is impossible to take the headphones, which are wrapped around it, away from the device.
Application No. WO2011129847, published on October 20, 2011, describes strip-shaped headphone cable organizer, which is made of flexible material and is mounted (by using a headphone plug) to the mobile electronic device link, into which the tip of the headphone plug is inserted. One end of the cable organizer has a hole through which an ajar tip of the headphone cable plug is inserted into the device, by doing this the organizer is firmly mounted along the back of the device. The headphone cable is wrapped around the device and around the organizer attached to the device. After all headphone cable is wrapped, the end of the organizer is bent upwards and, by using a magnet, is it connected to the upper part of the organizer, this way a loop, surrounding the headphone cables, is formed. This type of headphone organizer is not convenient to use, because the headphone cable is wrapped not only around the organizer but also around the device. When taking the organizer with headphone cable wrapped around it from the device, cables have to be disconnected from the device, therefore the cable cannot be firmly wrapped around the device, otherwise it would be very difficult to disconnect it.
The most similar according to the prior art is patent No. US2013168478, published on July 4, 2013. It describes headphone cable organizer, which is inserted only into the link of the charger for specific devices and which has all headphone cable wrapped around it. This type of headphone cable organizer is not multifunctional, because it can only be inserted into the link of the phone charger of iPhone type produced by Apple. Moreover, when the end of the organizer is inserted into this type of link, this link cannot be used for another purpose. This type of headphone organizer is not practical to use as well, because when the headphone cable is unwrapped and disconnected from the phone, it has to be carried separately, therefore it might easily be lost.
Technical Problem
Technical Solution
The main advantage of this invention is that the headphone cable is housed inside the spine of the branch-shaped headphone cable organizer, which allows neatly and quickly wrap the cable around the organizer and around two branches at the top of the organizer spine, when headphones are not used, while the headphone cable plug can be inserted into the cavity of one of the branches. The movement of the organizer along the headphone cable is limited by a brake firmly fixed in a certain place of a cable, which does not allow the organizer to slide down. If the headphone organizer is manually pulled up, it does not slide down by itself, because the spine of the organizer blocks this type of movement. For this reason, the organizer can only be adjusted by a person.
