Abstract

The present system and method is directed towards tracking a participant or activity and capturing that activity as well as the routes used during that activity. The invention is able to track where the participant is and react with a predetermined action such as taking photographs or video footage. Preferably the system will be able to track the participant over a large area to ensure that the entire event is captured. In this embodiment the cameras and the beacons are housed in the same unit which will be referred to as the recording unit, however other embodiments may feature separate cameras and beacons.
