Abstract

A secure enclosure (100) for a tablet display device (102) comprises a case (106) defining a cavity for receiving the tablet display device (102) and having a plurality of latch mechanisms (154). Each latch mechanism (154) has a retractable latch (164). The case (106) has a lock mechanism for operating the latches (164). The secure enclosure (100) further comprises a faceplate (108) having a corresponding plurality of striker heads (172) for engagement with the latches (164) to securely close the case. In a first configuration of the lock mechanism the latches (164) are deployed to engage with the respective striker heads (172), thereby securing the faceplate (108) to the case (106), and in a second configuration of the lock mechanism the latches (164) are withdrawn from the striker heads (172), to allow removal of the faceplate (108) from the case (106).
