L'invention concerne un dispositif pour générer de l'énergie au moyen des mouvements des vagues de la mer qui comprend un axe central (1), un premier mécanisme et un second mécanisme, le premier mécanisme comprenant au moins un premier flotteur (5) relié à l'axe central (1) au moyen d'un premier axe de liaison (6), au moins un second flotteur (7) relié à l'axe central (1) au moyen d'un second axe de liaison (8), et un système de blocage et de libération de ces axes de liaisons (6, 8) par rapport à l'axe central (1) au moyen d'un premier étrier (9), et le second axe de liaison (8) est relié à l'axe central (1) au moyen d'un second étrier (10), et le second mécanisme comprend au moins deux tubes enroulés de manière hélicoïdale (2) autour de l'axe central (2).
