The proximity communication unit 102 includes, for example, a proximity communication IC. The proximity communication unit 102 is connected to the antenna ANT2, and exchanges information with another device (in this example, the tablet terminal 20) by proximity communication. That is, the proximity communication unit 102 transmits information supplied from the control unit 110 to other devices by proximity communication via the antenna ANT2. Further, the proximity communication unit 102 supplies information received from another device through proximity communication via the antenna ANT2 to the control unit 110.
The microphone 103 converts sound (for example, sound) around the mobile phone terminal 10 into a sound signal.
Further, the microphone 103 outputs the converted sound signal to the control unit 110.
The speaker 104 converts the sound signal input from the control unit 110 into sound (for example, sound). The microphone 103 and the speaker 104 are also used for voice calls using a wireless communication line.
The display unit 105 includes, for example, a liquid crystal display and displays an image based on an input signal. The screen size (display area) of the liquid crystal display included in the display unit 105 is selected based on the external dimensions of the mobile phone terminal 10 in consideration of the portability of the mobile phone terminal 10. For example, the screen size of the liquid crystal display included in the display unit 105 is about 2 to 3 types.
The operation detection unit 106 includes, for example, a so-called 10 keyboard capable of inputting numbers from 0 to 9 and symbols such as “*” and “#”. The operation detection unit 106 detects an operation on the 10 keyboard and outputs information indicating the detected operation to the control unit 110. In other words, the operation detection unit 106 detects an operation for selecting at least a number that is an operation on the device itself.
The release operation detection unit 107 includes a biometric sensor such as a fingerprint sensor or a vein sensor, for example, and acquires biometric information of the user of the mobile phone terminal 10. Further, the release operation detection unit 107 outputs the acquired biological information to the control unit 110. This acquired biometric information is used to cancel the use restriction of some functions of the mobile phone terminal 10. Here, the use restriction of the function includes, for example, restriction of dial operation in the call function, restriction of character input operation in the electronic mail function, restriction of browsing of received electronic mail in the electronic mail function, and the like. The user of the mobile phone terminal 10 cancels the use restriction by performing an operation for canceling the function use restriction on the release operation detecting unit 107. In other words, the release operation detection unit 107 detects a release operation for releasing the use restriction of the function of the mobile phone terminal 10.
Next, each functional unit included in the control unit 110 will be described. As described above, the control unit 110 includes the communication control unit 111, the call control unit 112, and the usage control unit 113.
The communication control unit 111 controls a communication function using a wireless communication line and proximity communication among the functions of the mobile phone terminal 10. Specifically, the communication control unit 111 acquires information received by the line communication unit 101 and performs processing based on the acquired information. For example, when the information received by the line communication unit 101 is e-mail character information, the received character information is displayed on the display unit 105. That is, the communication control unit 111 displays the received information on its own terminal, that is, the display unit 105 of the mobile phone terminal 10.
In addition, the communication control unit 111 transmits information received by the line communication unit 101 to another device (the tablet terminal 20 in this example) via the proximity communication unit 102. For example, when the information received by the line communication unit 101 is video image information, the received image information is transmitted to the tablet terminal 20 via the proximity communication unit 102. In addition, the communication control unit 111 outputs information received by the proximity communication unit 102 to the wireless communication line via the line communication unit 101.
That is, the communication control unit 111 transfers information received via the wireless communication line to the tablet terminal 20 and transfers information received from the tablet terminal 20 to the wireless communication line.
In other words, the communication control unit 111 transmits the information received by the line communication unit 101 to the other device via the proximity communication unit 102 and also transmits the information received from the other device via the proximity communication unit 102. It transmits via the communication unit 101.
Here, the communication control unit 111 selects either using the received information on its own terminal or transferring it to another terminal (in this example, the tablet terminal 20) based on a predetermined standard. This predetermined standard is, for example, the type of received information. This predetermined reference may be stored in advance in the storage unit 120 or may be included in the received information.
Note that the communication control unit 111 may transmit information indicating the operation detected by the operation detection unit 106 to the tablet terminal 20 via the proximity communication unit 102. Thereby, the terminal system 1 can use the 10 keyboard provided in the mobile phone terminal 10 as an input device for the tablet terminal 20.
In addition, the communication control unit 111 transmits information indicating the release operation detected by the release operation detection unit 107 to the tablet terminal 20 via the proximity communication unit 102.
The call control unit 112 controls a call function using a wireless communication line among the functions of the mobile phone terminal 10. Specifically, the call control unit 112 outputs a signal based on the information received by the line communication unit 101 from the wireless communication line to the speaker 104 and outputs the information based on the signal converted by the microphone 103 to the line communication unit 101. Is output to the wireless communication line.
The usage control unit 113 (first usage control unit) cancels the usage restriction of the function of the own device based on the cancellation operation detected by the cancellation operation detection unit 107. Specifically, when the user of the mobile phone terminal 10 performs a release operation, the release operation detection unit 107 acquires biometric information of the user of the mobile phone terminal 10. Here, when the release operation detection unit 107 includes a fingerprint sensor, the release operation is an operation in which the user traces the fingerprint sensor with a finger. In this case, the release operation detection unit 107 acquires the fingerprint information of the user. The usage control unit 113 compares (collates) the fingerprint information acquired by the release operation detection unit 107 with the fingerprint information of the user stored in advance in the storage unit 120 to restrict the usage of the function of the mobile phone terminal 10. It is determined whether or not to cancel. When the usage control unit 113 determines that the fingerprint information matches as a result of collation between the fingerprint information acquired by the release operation detection unit 107 and the fingerprint information of the user stored in the storage unit 120 in advance. Removes restrictions on the use of functions. Further, the usage control unit 113 determines that the fingerprint information does not match as a result of collation between the fingerprint information acquired by the release operation detection unit 107 and the fingerprint information of the user stored in the storage unit 120 in advance. In such a case, the usage restriction on the function is not lifted.
As described above, the mobile phone terminal 10 has a communication function and a call function.
When the mobile phone terminal 10 receives information on a function that the device itself does not have, the mobile phone terminal 10 transfers the received information to the tablet terminal 20. Here, the function that the mobile phone terminal 10 does not have is, for example, a moving image playback function. In this example, when the mobile phone terminal 10 receives moving picture information from the wireless communication line, the mobile phone terminal 10 transfers the received moving picture information to the tablet terminal 20. Next, a detailed configuration of the tablet terminal 20 will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 3.
FIG. 3 is a block diagram illustrating an example of a functional configuration of the tablet terminal 20 of the present embodiment.
The tablet terminal 20 exchanges information with another device (in this example, the mobile phone terminal 10) by proximity communication. The tablet terminal 20 includes a control unit 210. The tablet terminal 20 includes a proximity communication unit 202 (second proximity communication unit), a display unit 205, and a storage unit 220. Each unit included in these tablet terminals 20 is connected to the control unit 210 via a bus. In addition, the tablet terminal 20 includes an antenna ANT3 for proximity communication.
制御部210は、例えば、CPU(Central Processing Unit;中央演算処理装置)を備えており、タブレット端末20内の各部を制御する。 The control unit 210 includes, for example, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) and controls each unit in the tablet terminal 20. The control unit 210 includes a communication control unit 211, a usage control unit 213, and a display control unit 216 as functional units. Details of the functional units included in the control unit 210 will be described later.
The storage unit 220 includes a nonvolatile storage element such as a flash ROM and a volatile storage element such as a DRAM or an SRAM. The storage unit 220 temporarily stores the calculation result by the control unit 210. In addition, information used for control by the control unit 210 is stored in the storage unit 220 in advance.
The proximity communication unit 202 includes, for example, a proximity communication IC. The proximity communication unit 202 is connected to the antenna ANT3, and exchanges information with the mobile phone terminal 10 (first terminal device) by proximity communication. That is, the proximity communication unit 202 transmits information supplied from the control unit 210 to other devices by proximity communication via the antenna ANT3. Further, the proximity communication unit 202 supplies information received from another device through proximity communication via the antenna ANT3 to the control unit 210.
The communication control unit 211 controls a communication function using proximity communication among the functions of the tablet terminal 20. Specifically, the communication control unit 211 acquires information received by the proximity communication unit 202 and performs processing based on the acquired information. For example, when the information received by the proximity communication unit 202 is image information of a moving image, the received image information is output to the display control unit 216.
The usage control unit 213 cancels the use restriction of the function of the own device based on the canceling operation detected by the canceling operation detecting unit 107. Here, a case where the release operation detection unit 107 includes a fingerprint sensor will be described. In this case, the release operation detection unit 107 acquires the fingerprint information of the user.
As described above, the release operation detection unit 107 is included in the mobile phone terminal 10. When the user of the mobile phone terminal 10 performs a release operation on the mobile phone terminal 10, the release operation detection unit 107 acquires the fingerprint information of the user of the mobile phone terminal 10. The communication control unit 111 of the mobile phone terminal 10 transmits the fingerprint information detected by the release operation detection unit 107 to the tablet terminal 20 via the proximity communication unit 102. The usage control unit 213 acquires the fingerprint information transmitted from the mobile phone terminal 10 via the proximity communication unit 202. The usage control unit 213 compares (collates) the acquired fingerprint information with the user's fingerprint information stored in advance in the storage unit 220, and determines whether to cancel the usage limitation of the function of the tablet terminal 20. To do. When the usage control unit 213 determines that the fingerprint information matches as a result of collation between the fingerprint information acquired by the release operation detection unit 107 and the fingerprint information of the user stored in the storage unit 220 in advance. Removes restrictions on the use of functions. In addition, the usage control unit 213 determines that the fingerprint information does not match as a result of collation between the fingerprint information acquired by the release operation detection unit 107 and the user's fingerprint information stored in the storage unit 220 in advance. In such a case, the usage restriction on the function is not lifted. Thereby, even if the tablet terminal 20 is not provided with the sensor for biometric authentication, the terminal system 1 can cancel | release the function restriction | limiting of the tablet terminal 20 by biometric authentication.
In this example, the use control unit 213 of the tablet terminal 20 is described as performing fingerprint collation, but is not limited thereto. For example, the usage control unit 213 of the tablet terminal 20 acquires the result of the fingerprint collation performed by the usage control unit 213 of the mobile phone terminal 10 and determines whether or not to release the function restriction based on the acquired fingerprint collation result. May be determined. Even if comprised in this way, the terminal system 1 can cancel | release the function restriction | limiting of the tablet terminal 20 by biometric authentication, even if the tablet terminal 20 is not provided with the sensor for biometric authentication.
The display control unit 216 outputs a signal based on information received from the mobile phone terminal 10 via the proximity communication unit 202 to the display unit 205. Specifically, when the information received by the near field communication unit 202 is image information of a moving image, the image information of the moving image output by the communication control unit 211 is acquired, and an image signal is generated based on the acquired image information. And supplied to the display unit 205.
The display unit 205 includes, for example, a liquid crystal display and displays an image based on an input signal. The screen size (display area) of the liquid crystal display included in the display unit 205 is selected on the basis of the dimensions considering the visibility of the screen. For example, the screen size of the liquid crystal display included in the display unit 205 is about 7 to 10 inches.
As described above, the display unit 105 of the mobile phone terminal 10 includes a liquid crystal display having a screen size of about 2 to 3 types. In other words, the display unit 105 has a display area whose display area is smaller than the display area of the display unit 205. That is, the mobile phone terminal 10 includes a display unit 105 having a screen size in consideration of portability, and the tablet terminal 20 includes a display unit 205 having a screen size in consideration of visibility. Thereby, the advantage that the small terminal device such as the mobile phone terminal 10 has excellent portability and the advantage that the large terminal device such as the tablet terminal 20 has excellent image visibility are respectively utilized. be able to. That is, according to the terminal system 1 of the present embodiment, convenience can be improved when a small terminal device and a large terminal device are combined.
As shown in FIG. 3, the tablet terminal 20 may include a speaker 204. Thereby, when the audio | voice is contained in the information of the moving image received by proximity | contact communication, the tablet terminal 20 can reproduce | regenerate the audio | voice of this moving image while displaying a moving image on the display part 205. FIG. As described above, since the tablet terminal 20 is larger than the mobile phone terminal 10, the speaker 204 can be made larger than the speaker 104 of the mobile phone terminal 10. For this reason, the tablet terminal 20 can increase the design freedom of the speaker 204 compared to the mobile phone terminal 10. Therefore, according to the terminal system 1, it is possible to provide a speaker with better sound quality than the speaker 104 of the mobile phone terminal 10, a speaker with a wide reproducible frequency band, or a speaker with a large reproducible volume range. . That is, according to the terminal system 1 of the present embodiment, convenience can be improved when a small terminal device and a large terminal device are combined.
As shown in FIG. 3, the tablet terminal 20 may include a microphone 203.
Thereby, the tablet terminal 20 can output the audio information detected by the microphone 203 to the mobile phone terminal 10 and the wireless communication line by proximity communication. As described above, since the tablet terminal 20 is larger than the mobile phone terminal 10, the design freedom of the microphone 203 is higher than that of the mobile phone terminal 10. For this reason, according to the terminal system 1, it is possible to provide a microphone with better sound quality than the microphone 103 of the mobile phone terminal 10, a microphone with a wide recordable frequency band, or a microphone with a large recordable volume range. . The tablet terminal 20 may include a camera (not shown) instead of the microphone 203 or in addition to the microphone 203.
Further, as shown in FIG. 3, the tablet terminal 20 may include an operation detection unit 206. As described above, in the terminal system 1 of the present embodiment, the mobile phone terminal 10 has a communication function with a wireless communication line, a call function, and a transfer function to the tablet terminal 20, and the tablet terminal 20 has an image display function. It has. With this configuration, the terminal system 1 can output information such as a moving image acquired by the wireless communication line to the tablet terminal 20 even if the tablet terminal 20 does not have a communication function with the wireless communication line. it can. Furthermore, since the tablet terminal 20 does not have a communication function with a wireless communication line, the component cost of the terminal system 1 as a whole can be reduced.
In addition, the terminal system 1 of the present embodiment can operate the tablet terminal 20 by using the input device (for example, 10 keyboard) of the mobile phone terminal 10. Thereby, the terminal system 1 can improve operativity compared with the case where the tablet terminal 20 is operated directly.
Further, the terminal system 1 of the present embodiment can release the function restriction of the tablet terminal 20 by using a biometric authentication sensor (for example, a fingerprint sensor) of the mobile phone terminal 10. Thereby, the terminal system 1 can cancel the function restriction of the tablet terminal 20 by biometric authentication even when the tablet terminal 20 does not include the biometric authentication sensor.
Further, in the terminal system 1 of the present embodiment, the mobile phone terminal 10 has a call function. Accordingly, the terminal system 1 can make a call using a mobile phone without operating the tablet terminal 20. Hereinafter, a case where the first terminal device is a smartphone will be described. In addition, about the structure and operation | movement same as 1st Embodiment, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected and the description is abbreviate | omitted.
FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram showing an example of an external configuration of a terminal system 1a according to the second embodiment of the present invention. The terminal system 1a includes a terminal device 10a and a terminal device 20.
Among these, the terminal device 10a is a smartphone as described above. In the following description, the terminal device 10a is also referred to as a smartphone 10a.
The smartphone 10a includes a display unit 105a. The display unit 105a includes, for example, a liquid crystal display and displays an image based on an input signal. The screen size (display area) of the liquid crystal display included in the display unit 105a is selected based on the outer dimensions of the smartphone 10a in consideration of the portability of the smartphone 10a. In other words, the display unit 105 a has a display area that has a smaller display area than the display area of the display unit 205 of the tablet terminal 20. That is, the smartphone 10a includes a display unit 105a having a screen size in consideration of portability, and the tablet terminal 20 includes a display unit 205 having a screen size in consideration of visibility. Thus, it is possible to take advantage of the advantage that the small terminal device such as the smartphone 10a has excellent portability and the advantage that the large terminal device such as the tablet terminal 20 has excellent image visibility. it can. That is, according to the terminal system 1a of the present embodiment, convenience can be improved when a small terminal device and a large terminal device are combined.

[Modification]
Next, with reference to FIG. 7A and FIG. 7B, the 1st and 2nd modification of each embodiment mentioned above is demonstrated.
