Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé, un dispositif et un système de mesure de retard de temps de transmission basés sur un protocole DOCSIS. Le procédé de mesure consiste : en l'envoi, par un dispositif CMTS, d'un message de paquet de requête de vérification de chemin DOCSIS (DPV-REQ) à un CM cible, le message de paquet DPV-REQ portant et enregistrant une estampille temporelle de départ ; en la réception, par le dispositif CMTS, d'un message de paquet de réponse de vérification de chemin DOCSIS (DPV-RSP) envoyé en réponse par le CM cible ; en l'enregistrement, par le dispositif CMTS, d'une estampille temporelle de réception pour recevoir le message de paquet DPV-RSP ; et en la détermination, par le dispositif CMTS, de la différence entre l'estampille temporelle de réception et l'estampille temporelle de départ comme retard de temps de transmission. Au moyen des modes de réalisation de la présente invention, le dispositif CMTS peut déterminer le temps d'une interaction de message de paquet entre le dispositif CMTS et le CM cible selon le retard de temps de transmission et peut suivre ensuite un CM ayant un problème de connexion intermittente selon le retard de temps de transmission, et en outre, peut être appliqué à tous les CM sans avoir une exigence spéciale pour les CM.
