Definitions
- Snatch theft is a criminal ac common in Southeast Asia like India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Sri lanka, Nepal, and South America, of forcefully stealing from a pedestrian's person while employing rob-and-run tactics. It is typical for two thieves to work together and ride a moped to make theft and escape easier. A person steers the vehicle while another does the act of theft itself. However, some snatch thieves work alone or do not use a motorcycle to rob.
- Safety device (1) for an object containing goods (3.0), such as a bag or the like, adapted to prevent or ward off a theft or a snatching of such container object by prowlers said device comprising: - a hook (2) adapted to be coupled in an attachment for safety belts of a vehicle and to be releasably locked in such attachment as a consequence of such coupling; and - securing means (3) having a first end portion (4) which is or can be secured to the hook (2) and a second opposite end portio (5) which can be secured to such container object (30).
- a safety device (1) for an object containing goods (30) such as a bag or the like, adapted to prevent or ward off a theft or snatching of such container object by prowlers, said device comprising:
- a hook (2) adapted to be coupled in an attachment for safety belts of a vehicle and to be releasably locked in such attachment as a consequence of such coupling; and securing means (3) having a first end portion (4) which is or can be secured to the
- said securing means (3) comprise a ring (6) which can be passed through by said hook (2) and said first end portion (4) to secure said second end portion (5) in the form of a loop around a handle (31) of said container object (30) .
- the hook (2) has a portion engageable in said attachment in order to cooperate with the latter, the engageable portion comprising two arms (14,15) parallel or approximately parallel between which a hollow region (19) is defined and interposed which is accessible from the outside through an opening, or cut, or interruption (33) defined on one of the two arms (14, 15) , or between two end portions of said arms ' .
- said end portions are two teeth (36, 37) which allow the coupling of the hook (2) to an attachment for safety belt.
- Safety device (1) according to any of the precedi ng claims, wherein said device is removably securable to such object containing goods (30) and wherein said device is a leather, that said device, concurring to the esthetical and stylistic appearance of said container object, induces the user to keep said device associated with said container during the standard use of said container, and not only during the transport of the container in a vehicle .
- the safety device (1) according to any f the preceding claims, further comprising illuminating means associated with said hook (2) .
- said hook (2) comprises a plate (32) and an engageable portion comprising two arms (14, 15) said engageable portion being adapted to be removably received within a space (38) defined within the plate (32) .
- Snatch theft needs incident time attention i.e. ⁇ actions as possibility to save the asset is more at that time. But once thieves ran from that place then it cumbersome to catch them and just rare to get snatched asset.
- This smart device has been developed by considering all aspect to protect ornaments and eventually life of person in both scenarios.
- Electric shock of human acceptable current range will be given to the thieves.
- the appropriate output current range of electric shock is considered for only catching thieves or letting him to throw ornaments at least.
- the range is not exceeding and it is as per the acceptable limit.
- 5V battery power supply is applied to the circuitry in device.
- Micro Camera is interfaced with the controller unit.
- controller unit send to the other device or mobile through wireless Bluetooth connectivity.
- Image will be stored in storage memory of device
- Another small device or mobile is only used for storing images taken from camera.
- Camera can be use any time i.e. while ornament snatched or surrender to thieves. It would be more effective in second scenario as camera can able to get qual ity image that time.
- Bluetooth wi ll send images from device to the other smal l device or mobi le. It is interfacing with controller unit.
- Circuit is to connect al l above components with each other.
