Abstract
A method and terminal for photographing using a front camera of a terminal, the method comprising: a terminal detects a photographing action of a front camera; determining whether the flash needs to be turned on for photographing, if yes, then controlling the liquid crystal display (LCD) screen and the LCD screen backlight module to emit light with the light intensity required by the flash. When photographing using the front camera, the method and the terminal provided by the present invention use an LCD screen to realize the function for a front flash by controlling the LCD screen and the backlight intensity thereof, thus meeting the requirement for the front flash of a mobile terminal. The present invention can economically and better improve user experience without adding a front flash to achieve the flash function.
