Definitions
- the present invention relates to a package for smoking articles and a blank for a package for smoking articles.
- a package for a smoking article such as a cigarette is generally widely produced by folding a blank made of paperboard, for example, cardboard, using a packaging machine.
- embossing is widely performed as a technique for imparting designability and tactile sensation in paper containers and wrapping paper. Embossing is a process that creates a three-dimensional effect by pushing up the back surface of a processing target such as paper to raise (swell) the surface, and is also called “lifting” processing.
- Patent Document 1 discloses a cigarette package that has been embossed.
- FIG. 12 is a view showing a cross section of a conventional blank 100 that has been embossed.
- the embossed part 110 formed in the blank 100 while the back surface side of the blank 100 is dented compared with the periphery, the surface side protrudes compared with the periphery.
- the embossed portion 110 configured as described above may be damaged by a portion protruding from the surface of the blank 100 coming into contact with the guide or belt of the packaging machine in the smoking article packaging process.
- the packaging machine for smoking article packages is set at a very high packaging speed from the viewpoint of improving the productivity of the product, and since it is necessary to ensure the molding quality of the package, the packaging machine guide, belt, etc. The clearance between them becomes fine and tight. Therefore, the package for smoking articles molded using a high-speed packaging machine has a problem that the embossed portion 110 protruding from the surface of the blank 100 is easily damaged by the packaging process.
- a place where the embossed part 110 is formed is often printed with a brand name, a mark, a design, etc.
- the embossed part 110 comes into contact with a guide or the like in the packaging process, the printed part There is a risk that ink, foil, etc. may be peeled off due to surface rubbing.
- the present invention has been made in view of the above-described circumstances, and the object thereof is that there is no deterioration in molding quality or peeling of ink or foil even when molding is performed using a high-speed packaging machine.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a package for a smoking article to which a three-dimensional feeling similar to the embossing is applied.
- the package for smoking articles according to the present invention is a package for smoking articles formed by folding a blank, and includes a concavo-convex decoration part formed on at least a part of the blank, and the concavo-convex decoration part Is formed in a flat area of the debossed portion by a debossed portion having a debossed surface in which the outer surface of the blank is recessed toward the accommodation space side of the smoking article from the surroundings by debossing, and the debossed surface is formed by embossing And an embossed part having a protrusion formed by protruding.
- the embossed portion is formed in the planar area of the debossed portion that is once recessed inward by debossing, the protrusion of the embossed portion is a guide of the packaging machine when packaging the package. Or contact with the belt or the like. Thereby, it can suppress suitably that an embossed part is damaged in the packaging process of a package.
- the height of the top portion of the protrusion may be equal to or less than the height of the outer peripheral portion surrounding the periphery of the debossed portion. According to this, in the packaging process of a package, damage to the protrusion of an embossed part can be controlled more certainly.
- the present invention can be regarded as a blank for a smoking article package that is folded to form a smoking article package.
- the blank of the package for smoking articles according to the present invention includes an uneven decoration portion formed at least in part, and the uneven decoration portion has a space for accommodating the smoking article so that the outer surface of the blank is more than the surrounding by debossing.
- a debossed portion having a debossed surface that is recessed toward the side, and an embossed portion that is formed in a planar region of the debossed portion and has a protrusion formed by raising the debossed surface by embossing.
- smoking articles examples include cigarettes (filter cigarettes, double-cut cigarettes (no filter)), cigars, cigarillos, and electronic cigarettes.
- the molding quality does not deteriorate or the ink or foil does not peel off, and for a smoking article to which a three-dimensional effect similar to the conventional embossing is given.
- Package can be provided.
