Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a roulette type game.
  • Roulette is played with a wheel having 37 pockets formed in its periphery, the pockets being numbered 0 to 36 (French/European Roulette); or 38 pockets numbered 0 to 36 and 00 (American roulette).
  • the same numbers are printed on the table lay-out in a matrix of boxes with three columns of 12 boxes, where bets may be placed.

  • the numbers themselves alternate between high/low and odd/even, with the 0 directly opposite the 00.
  • a Dealer (a casino employee) spins the wheel in one direction and the ball in the opposite direction. The players attempt to forecast the winning number which is determined by the pocket in the wheel into which the ball comes to rest.
  • Players may choose to place bets on either a single number or a range of numbers, the colours red or black, the high or low numbered pockets or whether the winning number is odd or even.
