Description
Air conditioning body intended especially for hot water central heating Field of technology
The technical solution refers to the air conditioning body intended especially for hot water central heating. The device is particularly suitable for use in habitable rooms where demand on powerful and aesthetical heating and cooling resources exists.
The current state of the art
So far the air conditioner bodies intended especially for hot water central heating systems are made from steel plates that are welded along the perimeter. Their disadvantage is a small performance and in particular lack of aesthetic qualities.
Subject matter of the technical solution
The above mentioned disadvantages have been removed to a great extent by air conditioning body intended especially for hot water central heating, containing at least one heat exchanger and pipes for the supply and discharge of the heat bearing liquid substance, according to this technical solution, whose subject matter lies in the fact that the heat exchanger is situated into an air chimney, which has in principle a cuboid shape, to create a chimney effect. Air chimney is . created by a cover which is formed by vertical surfaces on lateral sides. The cover is provided with one or more openings on the bottom side which total area is at least 10% of the horizontal sectional area of the air chimney led 1 mm above the highest point of the heat exchanger. From the top side the cover is provided with one or more openings with a total area of at least 15% of the horizontal sectional area of the air chimney kept 1 mm above the highest point of the . heat exchanger. The upper edge of the cover exceeds the highest point of the heat exchanger by at least 10 mm. The longitudinal axis of the cover is situated towards the vertical axis with a maximum tolerance of 55°. The subject matter of the technical solution is also the fact that the cover is equipped with a graphic and/or plastic aesthetic elements. Furthermore, it is essential that one of the vertical surfaces of the cover is created by the wall of the space on which the conditioning body is placed. Finally, it is essential that the distance between the heat exchanger and the wall is not more than 40 mm.
Explanation of particular definitions used in this technical solution:
Air conditioning body is such a. device which transfers heat from the space in which the device is located, or it takes heat into this area. Heat transfer is accomplished using a liquid which passes through this device.
Brief description of drawings
Fig. 1 schematically shows an air conditioning body with an indication of the heat exchanger:
Fig. 2 schematically shows an air conditioning body with pipes for supply and discharge of the heat bearing liquid substance.
Fig. 3 shows a plan view of the air Conditioning body where openings are visible in the upper side of the cover.
Fig. 4 shows the plan view of the variant with a cover, one side of which is created by the wall on which the air conditioning body is mounted.
Examples of implementation of the technical solution
The intention is to provide office space with hot water, central heating with a gas boiler with an output of 40 kW and five central heating bodies., each with an output of about 12 kW. At the same time it is required to provide individual rooms with small, but yet powerful air conditioning bodies that are able to transfer the duty of the boiler to the individual rooms. A copper cellular heat exchanger I of known construction is used for . the implementation of each of the five air conditioning bodies. This heat exchanger 1 is made in the shape of a cuboid with dimensions of 200 mm x 200 mm and a length of 800 mm. The heat exchanger i is equipped with pipes 5 for supply and discharge of the heat bearing liquid substance, which is in this case water. The heat exchanger i is on all its four sides equipped with vertical surfaces which form a shape of a cuboid cover 2 with a plan view of 800 mm x 200 mm and a height of 900 mm. An air chimney basically in a form of a cuboid and with dimensions identical to the dimensions of the cover 2 is created inside of the cover 2. The heat exchanger i is horizontally inserted into this air chimney with, an approximate inclination- of 5° from the horizontal plane. The heat exchanger i is located at the bottom part of the cover 2 about 100 mm from its bottom edge. Due to the height of the heat exchanger 1, which is 200 mm, there are another 500 mm of the height of the cover 2 above the heat exchanger 1. The cover 2 is opened from its bottom side, it is equipped with one opening 3 with a total area of 100% of the area of the horizontal section of the air cMmney led by 1 mm above the highest point of the . heat exchanger L Due to the size of the heat exchanger 1 and the dimensions of the cover
2 this horizontal incision is made 301 mm far from the bottom edge of the cover 2. The cover 2 is equipped with five identical openings 3 on the upper side, each opening has the size of 120 mm x 180 mm. Therefore their the total area is more than 15% of the surface of the horizontal section of the air chimney kept 1 mm above the highest point of the heat exchanger i. The upper edge of the cover 2 exceeds the highest point of the heat exchanger 1 by 500 mm. The covet 2 is aesthetically formed in a familiar way from the exposed side and lateral sides. The axis of the cover 2 is situated towards the vertical axis with a deviation of 55 °, which means that the air conditioning body can be diverted by maximum angle of 55 0 toward the vertical axis.
In another exemplary design the situation is similar, however the plan view dimensions of the heat exchanger 1 are 200 mm x 500 mm and the height is 380 mm. The height of its cover 2 with plan view dimensions of 200 mm x 500 mm is 650 mm. It is closed on three sides by vertical surfaces. The fourth side- is a wall 4 of the space in which the air conditioning body is located or to which it is fitted. The distance between the heat exchanger I and the wall 4 is 8 mm.
Industrial Applicability
The use of the invention is particularly in the' implementation of hot water central heating. But it can be used for implementation of a cooling unit.
