Abstract
The invention relates to a method for producing a polymeric carbon nitride catalyst for improving the efficiency of catalysis, particularly during photochemical cleavage of water to obtain hydrogen. The invention also relates to a device in which a catalyst is used that was produced according to said method. The catalyst is preferably attached to drops/fibres of a water-insoluble carrier polymer the diameters and preferably thicknesses of which lie in the nanometre to micrometre range, and which form a mechanically-coherent structure. This mechanically-coherent structure is preferably produced by means of a so-called electrospinning, preferably electrospray, method.
