Abstract

Pédale de bicyclette à enclenchement et déclenchement automatiques, comprenant un corps de pédale (2) qui comporte un logement (2a) destiné à recevoir un axe transversal (3) de pédale dont une extrémité (3a) fait saillie hors du logement et est propre à être fixée à une manivelle, l'autre extrémité (3b) de l'axe étant située à l'Intérieur du logement; le corps de pédale est monté sur ledit axe (3) à l'aide de paliers rotatifs (P1, P2) et comporte une surface d'appui (A) pour une cale prévue sous la semelle de la chaussure de l'utilisateur; la surface d'appui (A) est sphérique concave du côté opposé à l'axe (3) de pédale, la section de cette surface d'appui (A) par un plan passant par Taxe géométrique de rotation (X-X) de la pédale et orthogonal au plan moyen de la pédale étant formée par un arc de cercle (A1).
