Abstract

The invention relates to a method for feeding electrical energy to an AC network using an inverter (100) which comprises at least one input interface (102) and a plurality of output interfaces (104, 106, 108) for providing electrical energy, the method comprising a step of determining a number of feed phases required for the AC network and a step of providing the electrical energy at a number, which corresponds to the number of feed phases, of output interfaces (104, 106, 108) of the plurality of output interfaces (104, 106, 108), using direct voltage applied at the at least one input interface (102).
