Abstract

An electrical connector for a motor vehicle fuel pump is described, the connector (1) including a body (2) for coupling into a female fitting of an upper cover (6) of the fuel pump, the upper cover (6) having a tube (9) for insertion of a fuel pipe (7) of the motor vehicle fuel supply system. The hydraulic connection between the fuel pipe (7) and the tube (9) includes a sealing ring (8) and a supporting member (3) for the ring, the supporting member (3) for the ring being formed as a single component with the body (2) of the connector (1).
