Abstract

The invention relates to an electric generator that is operated with variable magnetic saturation. It is the object of the invention to provide an electric high-power generator having improved magnetic saturation, which, in a magnetic core, converts reactive power into active power. According to the invention, an electric generator is provided, in which in a ring core and in two magnetic path lengths, the magnetic saturation varies. As a result, electrical current is induced in the induction coil according to the law of induction. The invention comprises a magnetic core of soft magnetic material, in the interior of which a channel is formed, in which coils of capacitive windings are mounted. The capacitive windings are electrically arranged such that in each half cycle of the pulsating current, the magnetic poles act one against the other with the same polarity. This is the first closed magnetic path. The second magnetic path comprises two coils, which are wound on the outside of the magnetic core. The first coil is an excitation coil and is energized with magnetization direct current. The second coil is an induction coil. In the induction coil, electrical voltage is induced, the frequency of which is determined with the variation of the magnetic saturation. An electric generator constructed in this manner converts reactive power into active power.
