The invention relates to a treatment and medical dressing wear, which comprises intervention window (10), body belt (20), ventilation holes (30), and window belt (40), and prevents domestic animals from giving harm to the area of surgery following surgical operations in case of cuts, fractures etc. injuries and increases their comfort and provides convenience following operation, and also provides great convenience for the pet owners and the veterinary surgeon performing the operation.

DESCRIPTION
DOMESTIC ANIMAL TREATMENT WEAR USED IN INJURIES AND TRAUMA THE RELATED ART
The invention relates to medical dressing and treatment wear used after surgical operation made when domestic animals get injured.
The invention particularly relates to a treatment and medical dressing wear, which prevents domestic animals from giving harm to the area of surgery following surgical operations in case of cuts, fractures etc. injuries, and increases their comfort and provides convenience following operation, and also provides great convenience for the pet owners and the veterinary surgeon performing the operation.
THE PRIOR ART
Cats, dogs, and various other animals have the instinct to lick their wounds in order to heal them. During healing process, wounds give intensive pain and itchiness. This gives animals the desire to play with the wound area continuously. However, if the wound area is treated like that following an operation, that area would get infected, the stitches found on the wound would open or be torn and thus the wound would become more complicated.
In the prior art applications, domestic animals have great problems especially following operations made on the abdominal cavity. During post-operation care, the wound both needs to be frequently dressed and kept open for quick healing, and prevented from being licked or touched by the animal. Various methods are still used for this purpose.
Another method used in the prior art is to pour a special liquid or apply a bitter spray on the wound area. While this method extends the healing period of the wound, it also increases the risk of infection. In such applications, the animal stops licking, but keeps damaging the wound area by touching with paws or rubbing on other surfaces.
One of the most preferred methods disclosed in US Patent document no US3036554 is the apparatus also called as "Elizabeth Collar". However, while the Elizabeth Collar is worn, the domestic animal can not feed, drink water, and has difficulty in resting. Moreover, the animal owner needs to remove and put the apparatus back on the animal again frequently in order to feed the animal. If the pain or itchiness of the animal increases during the healing process of the wound, the animal can take the collar with its legs or harm the wound by itching it by its paws. Therefore the stitches might be torn.
Besides, since the wound is directly in contact with the external environment, it has contact with the external environment when the animal lies down or moves around, and therefore the wound gets infected and the liquids-medicine used on the medical dressing spread around and contaminate the place. As a result of these problems; even if the surgical operation is successful, as a result of the problems encountered following operation, usually the patient gets much more complications and the patient is even lost due to the post-operation complications.
In the fractures, twists, and strains formed on the extremities and other bones; that area needs to remain stable for a while. Therefore plaster bandage method is commonly used. However, although the plaster bandage provides partial stability to the animal, most of the time it is quite heavy with regard to the body of the animal and negatively affects the post-operation comfort of the animal. In addition to these, the healing process of the fractured area and the blood circulation can not be monitored with plaster bandages, and the animal that has to carry the plaster bandage for long time would suffer from weakening of muscles (atrophy) around that area following removal of the plaster bandage. Flexible bandage used for light twists and strains are also very disturbing and the animals generally don't want to carry the bandage and try to take it out with their teeth whenever they have the chance. Besides, in open frames especially formed after traffic accidents, the broken bone pieces cut the skin and are thus exposed or the plaster bandage needs to have a window in order to intervene on the wound during placement of pin into the bone. However, the animals would want to lick and gnaw this wound too. In the same way, these kinds of wounds also need to be dressed medically and the animal needs to be kept from intervening on the wound too. With this purpose, in addition to the plaster bandage or elastic bandage, Elizabeth Collar needs to be put on the animal too and therefore relevant problems also occur. Aside from these situations, the animal would want and try to itch and gnaw the skin infections (eczema, trichophytosis-fungus, scabies, dermatitis, allergy, abscess etc.) that occur from time to time. Even the infections that would heal in a few days with an effective treatment become much more complicated with the intervention of the animal. This also extends the healing process and also causes loss of time and money.
As a result, all of the methods used negatively affect the quality of animal life. These methods are used by the animal owner with difficulty, makes the intervention of the veterinary on the operational area more difficult. Moreover, domestic animal can easily reach the wounded area and negatively affect the healing process.
In the prior art methods, the wound is infected easily, the medicine, cream etc. therapeutics used on the medical dressing spread around or atrophy (weakening) occurs due to long time stability or circulation problems occur.
A medical dressing wear is disclosed in the US patent document no US7004922. The invention disclosed in this document is used in animals that have cut etc. wound on their bodies The treatment wear needs to be removed and put back on in order to replace the medical dressing on the wounded area. It can not be used in injuries of legs and other areas. Moreover, it doesn't have a supporting structure in the fractures, twists, and strains of extremities and other bones.
PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
The invention solves all of the problems given above. The present invention, in general terms, relates to medical dressing and treatment dress used following surgical operations made when a domestic animal is injured and comprising intervention window, body belt, ventilation holes, and window belt.
The purpose of the invention is to provide ease of use and comfort for the animal following operation and enable the animal feed and meet its other needs comfortably.
The purpose of the invention is to be readily dressed and removed when required and provide ease of use for the animal owner. Another purpose of the invention is to prevent the domestic animal from removing the apparatus by no means and thus have a more secure structure.
Another purpose of the invention is to certainly prevent the domestic animal's intervention on the wound.
Another purpose of the invention is to enable the animal owner or the medical personnel reach the wound easily and do the medical dressing or other required operations with no difficulty.
Another purpose of the invention is to ensure healing of the wound in much shorter time and without complication.
Another purpose of the invention is to prevent the antiseptic and medicine used in medical dressing from spreading around, and ensure healing of the wound in much shorter time since the wound is partially left open.
Another purpose of the invention is to prevent development of muscle atrophies (loss of muscle) in fractures and twists, since the material used is lighter.
Another purpose of the invention is to minimize the risk of interruption of blood circulation in possible cracks, fractures, and twists of extremities (front and rear legs), chest area, and spine and provide monitoring of the healing process from outside without taking off the bandage.
One of the most important purposes of the invention is to form the intervention window used on the treatment wear in desired size and desired position.
In the light of these purposes and with regard to all of these advantages, the invention is a medical dressing and treatment wear, which is used to prevent domestic animals from giving harm to the area of surgery following surgical operations in case of cuts, fractures etc. injuries, and it is characterized in that; it comprises:
• at least one intervention window in order to check the medical dressing of the area of surgical operation following a surgical operation, • at least one body belt used for ensuring that the treatment wear is wrapped around the animal body and the extremities tightly,
• ventilation holes that enable opening of said intervention window in desired size at any area of the treatment wear, and
• at least one window belt that enables attachment of said intervention window on the treatment wear.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the treatment wear of the invention, while the part covering the chest and abdominal parts is made of flexible material, the edge parts corresponding to the armpit and inguinal region are made of rubber or silicone in order to avoid irritation due to friction. The whole apparatus comprises ventilation holes (30) in a ratio that would not reduce the strength of the material. With reference to these ventilation holes (30), intervention window (10) can be opened at any desired region of the treatment wear at any size. Afterwards, this intervention window (10) is integrated with the upper part by means of a window belt (40) (string, Velcro, snap fastener). Treatment wear used in extremities (front and rear legs) is made of harder material. In this way, it can carry the body weight. Also, frequently ventilation holes (30) are used in a way that would not reduce the strength of the treatment wear. It has tight- grip feature by being wrapped around the extremity (rear and front legs). Intervention window (10) can be opened at any desired area. The areas of armpit and the inguinal region are again made of rubber or silicone, or they are rounded and twisted outwards in a non-sharp manner. It is designed such that it would be wrapped tightly around the shoulder and hip regions of the patient.
Figure-1 is the view of the present invention treatment wear worn on the domestic animal body. In this drawing, following a possible surgical intervention, the intervention window (10) formed in order to check the medical dressing on the area of the surgical operation is shown. Moreover, the body belt (20) for enabling the treatment wear to be tightly wrapped around the domestic animal body is shown.
Figure-2 is the detail view of the present invention treatment wear body piece. In this drawing, ventilation holes (30) are found on the whole treatment wear in a way that they wouldn't reduce the strength of the treatment wear. Intervention window (10) can be opened in any desired size and at any desired area of the treatment wear with reference to these ventilation holes (30). Afterwards, this intervention window (10) can be connected to the cut upper region with desired tightness via the window belt (40).
Figure-3 shows the view of the present invention treatment wear as worn !on extremity. This drawing also comprises the intervention window (10) formed in order i to check the medical dressing on the surgical operation area and the body belt (20) used for wrapping the extremities of the patient tightly.
Figure-4 shows the detail view of the present invention treatment wear extremity piece. It comprises ventilation holes (30) positioned such that they would not reduce the strength of the treatment wear and carry the body weight, and body belt (20) that is formed to grip the extremity (front and rear legs) tightly. Moreover, intervention window (10) can be opened at the desired area of the treatment wear with the help of the ventilation holes (30). Drawings given in the invention are provided for illustration purposes. The shape and the type of material of the treatment wear might change with regard to the area to be treated. However, all the embodiments comprise intervention window (10), body belt (20), ventilation holes (30), and window belt (40).

Claims

1. The invention is a medical dressing and treatment wear, which is used to prevent domestic animals from giving harm to the area of surgery following surgical operations in case of cuts, fractures etc. injuries, and it is characterized in that; it comprises:
• at least one intervention window (10) in order to check the medical dressing of the area of surgical operation following a surgical operation,
• at least one body belt (20) used for ensuring that the treatment wear is wrapped around the animal body and the extremities tightly, and
• ventilation holes (30) that enable opening of said intervention window (10) in desired size at any area of the treatment wear.
2- Medical dressing and treatment wear according to claim 1 , and it ' is characterized in that; it comprises at least one window belt (40) that enables attachment of said intervention window (10) on the treatment wear.
