Abstract

The invention relates to a method for producing a permanent magnet rotor of an electric motor, wherein the magnet (1), which consists of magnetic powder and binder and is pressed into shape and hardened, is force-locked in a cylindrical metal sheet sleeve (2), the pressed magnet (1) being inserted into the cylindrical sheet metal sleeve (2) in the non-hardened state and then being hardened inside the sheet metal sleeve (2) by supplying heat (so-called tempering).
