Abstract

L'Inde possède un vaste réseau de voies ferrées. Son réseau ferré est le quatrième du monde, et le nombre de passagers est en augmentation, tout comme le transport de marchandises. L'invention concerne, afin de satisfaire le besoin d'un transport de marchandises rapide à travers le pays, un système de transport de marchandises souterrain. Il comprend une unité mobile se déplaçant à travers un pipeline/tunnel souterrain en béton et une ou plusieurs stations de commande. L'unité mobile consiste en au moins un matériel roulant circulant sur au moins deux rails d'entraînement sous le matériel roulant, et au moins un rail de guidage et d'alimentation au-dessus du matériel roulant destiné à alimenter le matériel roulant en énergie. Des roues équipent le matériel roulant pour qu'il circule sur les rails. Chaque matériel roulant contient une étiquette RFID à des fins de surveillance.
