Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de prise d'empreintes digitales d'une personne conformément au protocole 4-4-2. Le procédé consiste à effectuer le balayage des empreintes digitales d'une première paire de doigts (16) de la main gauche d'une personne et d'une première paire de doigts (18) de la main droite de la personne de manière simultanée. Ensuite, les empreintes digitales d'une seconde paire de doigts (22) de la main gauche de la personne et une seconde paire de doigts (24) de la main droite de la personne font l'objet d'un balayage de manière simultanée. Dans la dernière étape, les empreintes digitales des pouces (28) de la personne font l'objet d'un balayage de manière simultanée. Le procédé comporte de manière préférentielle l'étape consistant à fournir deux scanners distincts (14.1, 14.2) de sorte qu'à chaque étape les doigts des main gauche et main droite de la personne font l'objet d'un balayage sur des scanners distincts.
