FIELD
The present disclosure relates to Internet communications field, and more particular to a method and device for pushing information.
BACKGROUND
Various top news, events, videos are show on Internet every day, which are attractive to Internet users. Everyone may be interested in different aspects however, for example, girls like browsing entertainment news, reading love stories; while boys like browsing sport or technology news, reading science fiction, etc. Hot information may have various sorts, for example, movies may be sorted into love, comedy, action, etc. Therefore, the hot information may overload due to its amount and complex degree for each user. How to select and rank the hot information that the user is much interested in, and then present the hot information to the user becomes more and more important.
In prior arts, the presentation of the hot information commonly uses an overall hot list or a hot list for each topic, for example, lists of the information may be divided into technology list, science list, entertainment list, sport list, etc. Such a presentation is the same to all users, different interests for different users are not considered however, as a result, feedback responded to the information from the users is weak.
SUMMARY
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for pushing information and a device thereof, so as to accurately push hot information to users.
A method for pushing information includes: obtaining circle characteristics of a target user, the circle characteristics including identity attribute characteristics which denote basic attributes related to identity of the target user; ranking hot information in each circle characteristic; and reorganizing the hot information according to the circle characteristics of the target user, and then pushing the hot information to the target user.
A device for pushing information, includes: a characteristic obtaining unit, programmed to obtain circle characteristics of a target user, the circle characteristics including identity attribute characteristics which denotes basic attributes related to identity of the target user; an information ranking unit, programmed to rank hot information in each circle characteristic; and an information pushing unit, programmed to reorganize the hot information according to the circle characteristics of the target user, and then pushing the hot information to the target user.
In comparison with the prior art, in the method and the device of the present disclosure, the circle characteristics of the target user are obtained, then the hot information in the circle characteristic is ranked and reorganized accordingly, and then pushed to the target user. Since the circle characteristics include identity attribute characteristics which denote basic attributes related to identity of the target user, thus the hot information pushed to the target user is customized according to the identity of the target user, which makes it attractive to the users, thereby increasing feedback rate made to the hot information from the users.

Technical solution of this disclosure will become apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings. Apparently, the embodiments described thereinafter merely a part of embodiments of the present disclosure, but not all embodiments. Persons skilled in the art can obtain all other embodiments without creative works based on these embodiments, which pertains to the protection scope of the present disclosure.
Referring to Fig. 1, a method for pushing information according to embodiments of the present disclosure includes the following steps.
Step 101, obtaining circle characteristics of a target user.
Concretely, a device for pushing information obtains the circle characteristics of the target user, and the circle characteristics include identity attribute characteristics which denote basic attributes related to identity of the target user. Here, a circle may refer to a group of users in a social network according to the interactions among the users. The circle characteristics relate to social characteristics of the group of users in the social network.
The circle characteristics may denote which circle characteristic the target user has. For example, if the circle characteristic is male, that is to say, the target user has a circle characteristic of male users. Such an example is just for easier understanding, but various circle characteristics can be possessed by the target user in actual practice, which are not limited.
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the target user is the object to whom the hot information is pushed.
The device for pushing information in the present disclosure can be an individual physical apparatus, or software programs loaded in the terminal. The descriptions for the device for pushing information are schematic merely, for example, the division of elements in the device for pushing information is made according to the logical functions, but there could be other division ways, such as, multiple elements or assemblies are combined or integrated into another system, or some characteristics can be ignored or inexecuted. In addition, direct coupling or communications can be carried out by some interfaces, indirect coupling or communications between the devices or units can be carried out by electrical, mechanical ways, etc. If the integrated units are implemented in forms of software functional units and sold or used as individual products, they could be stored in a computer-readable storage medium. Based on such understanding, the technical solution of the present disclosure, or the contributive solution compared with the prior arts, or part of or a whole of the technical solution could be presented by forms of software products which are stored in storage medium and have some instructions, so that a computer device (such as personal computer, server, or network device, etc. ) could perform part of or a whole of steps in the method of the present embodiments. And said storage medium may include USB flash disk, movable hard disk, ROM (Read-Only Memory) , RAM (Random Access Memory) , diskette, or optical disk, etc.
Step 102, ranking hot information in each circle characteristics.
Concretely, the device for pushing information ranks the hot information in the circle characteristics respectively, and the origins of the hot information can be at least one selected from pictures, words or videos.
In actual practice, internet side will sort the hot information of different circle characteristics. But please note that, the circle characteristic and the hot information are not in a one-to-one corresponding relationship, instead, a sort of hot information may has multiple circle characteristics, for example, regarding information about mobile phones, it can be sorted to a circle characteristic about male, or about the youth from 16 to 39 ages, or about workers in technology industry, and the like.
Step 103, reorganizing the hot information according to the circle characteristics of the target user, and then pushing the hot information to the target user.
Concretely, the device for pushing information reorganizes the hot information according to the circle characteristics of the target user, and then pushes the reorganized hot information to the target user.
In actual practice, after sorting and ranking the hot information, multiple sorts of hot information with different types are generated, so that, part of hot information which the user is much interested in will be reorganized according to the circle characteristic of the target user, and an example follows.
The device for pushing information may allot an interest weight corresponding to each circle characteristic, which is for denoting the degree that the user is interested in the circle characteristic. So that, the device for pushing information may balance the interest weights and popularity values for various sorts of hot information from which the interesting information will be reorganized, and then pushed to the target user.
In the embodiments, the device for pushing information may obtain the circle characteristics of the target user, then rank and reorganize the hot information in the circle characteristic accordingly, and then push them to the target user. Since the circle characteristic includes identity attribute characteristic which denote basic attributes related to identity of the target user, thus the hot information pushed to the target user is customized according to the identity of the target user, which makes it attractive to the users, thereby increasing feedback rate made to the hot information from the users.
In actual practice, circles of the user may have multi-dimensional circle characteristics. Please refer to Fig. 2, a method for pushing information according to embodiments of the present disclosure includes:
Step 201, obtaining circle characteristics of a target user.
Concretely, a device for pushing information obtains the circle characteristics of the target user, therein, the circle characteristics include identity attribute characteristics which denote basic attributes related to identity of the target user, and behavior attribute characteristics which are used for denoting various network behavior characteristics of the target user.
The circle characteristics denote which circle characteristics the target user has, for example, if the circle characteristic is male, that is to say, the target user has a circle characteristic of male users. Such an example is just for easier understanding, but various circle characteristics can be possessed by the target user in actual practice, which are not limited here.
For example, the identity attribute characteristics may include gender characteristics and age characteristics. Concretely, the age characteristic may be a specific age, or a certain age phase (such as the youth) . Further, the identity attribute characteristics may include at least one of area characteristics, marriage characteristics, educational background characteristics, and work industry characteristics.
Concretely, the area characteristics may include where the target user comes from, where his/her birthplace is, or where he/she goes to school, which show that the target user may be much interested in news happened in this area.
Concretely, the marriage characteristics show the current marriage status of the target user, which may be married, unmarried, divorced, or widowed, by which the interesting news of the target  user could be shown, for example, the unmarried users may be much interested in fashions, while the married users may care about information about children or couples.
Concretely, the educational background characteristics show the education background of the target user, such as senior high school or graduated college. Different groups with different education backgrounds may care about different information.
Concretely, the work industry characteristics show the industry what the target user undertakes, such as a teacher, a doctor or a reporter. Target users in different industries may pay attention to different information about their jobs.
As embodiment, the behavior attribute characteristics include at least one of search characteristics, browsing characteristics, and application characteristics.
Concretely, the search characteristics may include the specific information that the target user usually searches. For example, the specific information may include keywords searched by the target user. The browsing characteristics may include some websites or some news that the target user usually browses; and the application characteristics may include some applications that the target user usually uses, for example instant messaging software, such as QQ, Wangwang, etc. , or a certain game. Concretely, the instant messaging software such as QQ or Wangwang can be sorted as circles of the target user, for example, QQ could be sorted in a circle in which the users like shopping in Taobao. If the target user likes playing a certain game, information related to the game or some new games will be promoted and recommended as the hot information.
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the device for pushing information will allot an interest weight for each circle characteristic, and such interest weights could be a fixed default value, or other values calculated by density of the behaviors of the user. For example, regarding some identity attribute characteristics, a default value could be allotted, such as the interest weight of an identity attribute characteristic of male is 1; regarding some behavior attribute characteristics, its interest weight can be calculated according to usage frequency or attention frequency of the target use, if the frequency is high, and its interest weight is large accordingly.
Step 202, ranking hot information in each circle characteristic.
Concretely, the device for pushing information ranks the hot information in the circle characteristics respectively, and the origins of the hot information can be at least one selected from pictures, words or videos.
As an embodiment, the step of ranking the hot information include:
step (1) , obtaining various sorts of hot information in one circle characteristic, normalizing the various sorts of hot information according to their popularity degrees so as to obtain popularity values corresponding to the various sorts of hot information, and then ranking the hot information according to the popularity values; and
step (2) , ranking the hot information in other circle characteristics according to the method in the step (1) .
In actual practice, the popularity value of the hot information is depended on attention degree of the hot information in the internet. Further, the attention degree is determined by the click rate of the hot information in the internet.
Step 203, reorganizing the hot information according to the circle characteristics of the target user.
In actual practice, after sorting and ranking the hot information, the device for pushing information will obtain the interest weights corresponding to the circle characteristics and the popularity values corresponding to the hot information, and then calculate the interest value for each circle characteristic according to the interest weight and the popularity value. Concretely, the interest value means the degree that the target user is interested in the hot information.
Step 204, pushing the reorganized hot information to the target user.
In actual practice, after calculating the interest values for the hot information, the device for pushing information will rank the hot information according to their interest values, and then push the hot information with top N highest interest values, and N is a positive integer larger than zero.
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the method calculates the interest point for the target user by using multi-dimensional circle characteristic, so that, relationships between characteristics in one sort of hot information are built by the reorganization calculation mentioned above (if one sort of hot information satisfies with the multi-dimensional circle characteristic, the interest weight thereof will be larger) , which helps to sort out the hot information for the target user.
Descriptions of the device for pushing information obtaining circle characteristics follow, referring to Fig. 3, a method for pushing information according to embodiments of the present disclosure includes the following steps.
Step 301, obtaining identity attribute characteristics of a target user.
Concretely, the device for pushing information obtains identity attribute information from registered account information of the target user, and then allots an interest weight according to each sort of the identity attribute information.
As an embodiment, the registered account information can be registered account information in a certain social application.
The identity attribute characteristics may include gender characteristics and age characteristics. Concretely, the age characteristic may be a specific age, or a certain age phase (such as the youth) . Further, the identity attribute characteristics may include at least one of area  characteristics, marriage characteristics, educational background characteristics, and work industry characteristics.
Concretely, the area characteristics may include where the target user comes from, where his/her birthplace is, or where he/she goes to school, which shows that the target user may be much interested in news happened in this area.
Step 302, obtaining behavior attribute characteristics of the target user.
In actual practice, the behavior attribute characteristics include at least one of search characteristics, browsing characteristics, and application characteristics.
Concretely, the search characteristics may include the specific information that the target user usually searches; the browsing characteristics may include some websites or some news that the target user usually browses; and the application characteristics may include some applications that the target user usually uses, for example instant messaging software, such as QQ, Wangwang, etc. , or a certain game.
Concretely, the step of obtaining the behavior attribute characteristics of the target user includes:
obtaining a search frequency of each sort of specific information that is searched in a search engine of a terminal used by the target user, and then calculating an interest weight for each sort of specific information according to the search frequency; or
obtaining a browsing frequency of each sort of specific information that is browsed in a browser of a terminal used by the target user, and then calculating an interest weight for each sort of specific information according to the browsing frequency; or
obtaining a usage frequency of each sort of applications that is used in a terminal used by the target user, and then calculating an interest weight for each sort of specific information according to the usage frequency.

Concretely, the area characteristics may include where the target user comes from, where his/her birthplace is, or where he/she goes to school, which shows that the target user may be much interested in news happened in this area.
Concretely, the search characteristics may include the specific information that the target user usually searches; the browsing characteristics may include some websites or some news that the target user usually browses; and the application characteristics may include some applications that the target user usually uses, for example instant messaging software, such as QQ, Wangwang, etc., or a certain game.
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the device for pushing information will allot an interest weight for each circle characteristic, and such an interest weight could be a fixed default value, or other values calculated by density of the behaviors of the user.
The information ranking unit 402 is programmed to rank the hot information in the circle characteristics respectively, and the origins of the hot information can be at least one selected from pictures, words or videos.
As an embodiment, the process of ranking the hot information includes the following steps.
Step (1) , obtaining various sorts of hot information of one circle characteristic, normalizing the various sorts of hot information according to their popularity degrees so as to obtain popularity values corresponding to the various sorts of hot information, and then ranking the hot information according to the popularity values; and
step (2) , ranking the hot information in other circle characteristics according to the method in the step (1) .
In actual practice, the popularity value of the hot information is depended on attention degree of the hot information in the internet. Further, the attention degree is determined by the click rate of the hot information in the internet.
The information pushing unit 403 is programmed to reorganize the hot information according to the circle characteristic of the target user.
In actual practice, after sorting and ranking the hot information, the device for pushing information will obtain the interest weights corresponding to the circle characteristics and the popularity values corresponding to the hot information, and then calculate the interest value for each circle characteristic according to the interest weights and the popularity values. Concretely, the interest value means the degree that the target user is interested in the hot information.
As an embedment, the process of normalizing the various sorts of hot information according to the popularity degrees includes the following steps.
Step (A) obtaining the network click count of the hot information j, and the maximum network click count and the minimum network click count of any one sort of hot information, and then normalizing the hot information j by using a formula one that is:
Figure PCTCN2014088787-appb-000005
Here, PVj means the click count of the hot information j, PVmax and PVmin mean the maximum network click count and the minimum network click count in one sort of hot information respectively, Rj means the popularity value of the hot information after normalized, and the popularity value is between 0 to 1.
Step (B) , performing the normalized process to other hot information according to the method in the step (A) .
After reorganizing the hot information, the information pushing unit 403 pushes the reorganized hot information to the target user.
In actual practice, after calculating the interest values for hot information, the device for pushing information will rank the hot information according to their interest values, and then push the hot information with top N highest interest values, and N is a positive integer larger than zero.
As an embodiment, the process of calculating the interest value for each circle characteristic according to the interest weight and the popularity value includes the following steps.
Step (a) , obtaining the interest weight and the popularity value corresponding to the hot information j, and then calculating the interest value of the hot information j according to a formula two that is:
Figure PCTCN2014088787-appb-000006
Here, Wi means the interest weight of the circle characteristic i corresponding to the target user, Rij means the popularity value of the hot information j corresponding to the circle characteristic i, Sj means the interest value of the hot information j that the target user is interested in.
Step (b) , calculating the interest values of other hot information according the method in the step (a) .
In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the method calculates the interest point for the target user by multi-dimensional circle characteristic, so that, relationships between characteristics in one sort of hot information are built by the reorganization calculation mentioned above (if the sort of hot information satisfies with the multi-dimensional circle characteristic, the interest weight thereof will be larger) , which helps to sort out the hot information for the target user.
Concretely, in actual practice, circles of the user may have multi-dimensional circle characteristics, thus, the characteristic obtaining unit 401 may obtain identity attribute characteristics of the target user.
Concretely, the device for pushing information obtains identity attribute information from the registered account information of the target user, and then allots an interest weight for each sort of the identity attribute information.
As an embodiment, the registered account information can be registered account information in a certain social application.
The identity attribute characteristics may include gender characteristic and age characteristic.
Specifically, the characteristic obtaining unit 401 may obtain behavior attribute characteristics of the target user.
Concretely, the process of obtaining the behavior attribute characteristics of the target user includes:
obtaining a search frequency of each sort of specific information that is searched in a search engine of a terminal used by the target user, and then calculating an interest weight for each sort of specific information according to the search frequency; or
