- FIG. 1 is a block diagram of an electronic control device for driving a dielectric load according to the first embodiment.
- the electronic control device of the present embodiment includes an inductive load 10 connected to the battery power supply 1, a switch element 12 that controls energization of the inductive load 10, a driver drive unit 42 that drives the switch element 12, Voltage divider 30, voltage clamp unit 20 that clamps the back electromotive force due to the dielectric load to a constant voltage, voltage detector 50 that detects an abnormality in the clamp voltage, and detection timing control that controls the timing to detect the clamp voltage
- the unit 40 is configured.
- the electronic control unit controls the energization to the dielectric load 10 by driving the corresponding switch element 12 by the driver driving unit 42 in accordance with a command from the microcomputer 60.

Thereafter, when the driver drive signal 42A becomes low level, the switch element 12 is turned off, and the energization to the inductive load 10 is stopped. At this time, a counter electromotive force is generated in the driver output signal 12A due to the counter electromotive force of the dielectric load 10. Description
