Description

Title : HUMAN DATA RELATION
Human data relation is explained by a simple process where human/user rating value or points will be the summation of all or part of the data rating value/points which is given to any formats or types of data components uploaded, created or owned by the human/user in a dynamic web application.
Field of Invention: The present invention is in the field of web internet application and relates to a method in which registered users in a web application are rated/given value by web application depending upon the rated value of any formats or types of data uploaded, created or owned by them.
Background: Usually in a web application registered users are rated normally by other users or by how much they use the application, data components uploaded, created or owned by users are rated independently and there is no direct relation between rating value/points of data components and rating value/points of user, which is described in earlier patents. In such functionalities data components with more rating value/points are considered more valuable than data components with less rating value/points
In US Patent publication no. 2005/0102375, a user normally uploads a data component and rates it, and there is no direct relation between rating value/points of data component and rating value/points of user who uploads data, even though the data component is rated it does not relates directly to user rating as data component rating is completely independent, that means there is no human data relation, although in this case value is created for data component but value is not created for the human or user who uploads, creates or owns the data component.
Summary:
Human data relation provides a rating mechanism in which a user is rated/ranked or given value depending upon the rated value of any formats or types of data uploaded, created or owned by that user, when this data is rated by any other registered user, its value is collected to determine the value or rating of user who uploads, creates or owns the data, the rating mechanism applies to all registered users in a web application or system, the rating mechanism also applies to data components of multiple data types or formats.
Human data relation in a web application has a generic rating standard known as Volts throughout the application, volts are nothing but points/value or unit which is used to determine value of user and data entities within a web application, for each data component N... number of volts are given, each user is allowed to give a single volt to each data component, a part of this volt value or complete volt value is assigned to user to whom the data component belongs, thus user volts are accumulated through data volt ratings provided that the data component belongs to the user and is uploaded, created or owned by that respective user.
Specification:
In an embodiment of the invention rated value of user is directly dependent on rated value of any formats or types of data uploaded, created or owned by that user.
In an embodiment of the invention rated value of a registered user in a dynamic web application is related to real time summation calculation of rated value of any formats or types of data uploaded, created or owned by that user.
In an embodiment of the invention If a user uploads a good quality data the probability of getting good rating for the data increases and similarly user rating value also increases as rating value of user is dependent on rating value of any formats or types of data components uploaded, created or owned by that user.
In an embodiment of the invention all entities whether user or data are rated by a generic standard known as volts, volts are nothing but points/value or unit which is used to determine value of user and data entities within a web application, the web application directly relates user volts to data volts which are given to any formats or types of data components uploaded, created or owned by user.
In an embodiment of the invention user volts is calculated by the web application as it depends on data volts captured by the application. A volt rating factor is used to calculate user volts
In an embodiment of the invention user volts are used to perform any transactions within a web application like purchasing a new functionality, claiming a gift or any other functionalities which is defined inside a dynamic web application.
In an embodiment of the invention a user is allowed to transfer or give his volts to other users inside the dynamic web application.
In an embodiment of the invention a user with more volts is considered a more valuable and trusted user and thus whenever he/she rates a particular data the value of data is rated high by configuring volt rating factor more for that particular user and for a user with less volts, if he/she rates a data the value of data is rated less by configuring volt rating factor less, configuring volt rating factor is done programmatically. Data can be of any data type or data format Brief Description of Drawings:
An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is illustrated by way of example in the accompanying drawings in which like reference numbers indicate the same or similar elements and in which:
FIG. 1 shows how user gets rated depending upon the rated value of all data uploaded, created or owned by user here two users are shown user A and user B, volt rating factor of 1 is used in this scenario
In this drawing for reference pdf, image, text and video format data components are shown, data components can be of any data type or data formats in HDR.
FIG. 2 shows how user gets rated depending upon the rated value of all data uploaded, created or owned by user here two users are shown user A and user B, volt rating factor of 0.5 is used in this scenario
In this drawing for reference pdf, image, text and video format data components are shown, data components can be of any data type or data formats in HDR.
Detailed Description:
FIG. 1 shows two users who are logged inside a dynamic web application (12) user A and (15) user B ,user A has uploaded a pdf data and an image data similarly user B has created a text data, uploaded a video data and a pdf data
Once all data is uploaded or created by respective user A and user B, other users are allowed to rate this data for example (13) each volt is given by user C, user B and user A, thus pdf data uploaded by user A has in total 3 volts, volts are nothing but points or value.
(14) each volt is given by user C and user D to image data uploaded by user A so this image data uploaded by user A has in total 2 volts. each time users rate this pdf data and image data which is uploaded and owned by user A, the application uses a (19) volt rating factor of 1 multiplies it with the volt rating given by each user and adds it to the value of user A's volt rating value.
Thus in total user A's volt rating value is 5 volts, the whole process is explained by a simple equation below
(19) UV =VR*SUMMATION OF DV Where
Volts= Points or Value given
UV= User Volts
DV= Data Volts
VR= Volt Rating Factor
So UV= l* (3+2)
UV= 1*5
UV= 5 volts
Thus user A's volt rating value is 5 volts if volt rating factor of 1 is configured, this configuration is done programmatically using a web based programming language.
According to pic no (16),(17),(18) each volt is given to text, video and pdf data which is uploaded, created or owned by (15) user B, thus each data components have 1 volts each
So UV= 1* (1+1+1)
UV= 1*(3)
UV= 3 volts
Thus user B's volt rating value is 3 volts if volt rating factor of 1 is configured, this configuration is done programmatically using a web based programming language.
Thus in this case A is the user with more volts and is considered a more valuable and trusted user and thus whenever he/she rates a particular data the value of data is rated high by configuring volt rating factor more and for a user with less volts like B, if he/she rates a data the value of data is rated less by configuring volt rating factor less, configuring volt rating factor is done programmatically.
FIG. 2 shows two users who are logged inside a dynamic web application (20) user A and (23) user B , user A has uploaded a pdf data and an image data similarly user B has created a text data, uploaded a video data and a pdf data
Once all data is uploaded or created by respective user A and user B, other users are allowed to rate this data for example (21) each volt is given by user C, user B and user A, thus pdf data uploaded by user A has in total 3 volts, volts are nothing but points or value. (22) each volt is given by user C and user D to image data uploaded by user A so this image data uploaded by user A has in total 2 volts. each time users rate this pdf data and image data which is uploaded and owned by user A, the application uses a (27) volt rating factor of 0.5 multiplies it with the volt rating given by each user and adds it to the value of user A's volt rating value.
Thus in total user A's volt rating value is 2.5 volts, the whole process is explained by a simple equation below
(27) UV =VR*SUMMATION OF DV
Where
Volts= Points or Value given
UV= User Volts
DV= Data Volts
VR= Volt Rating Factor
So UV= 0.5*(3+2)
UV= 0.5*5
UV= 2.5 volts
Thus user A's volt rating value is 2.5 volts if volt rating factor of 0.5 is configured, this configuration is done programmatically using a web based programming language.
According to pic (24), (25), (26) each volt is given to text, video and pdf data which is uploaded, created or owned by (23) user B, thus each data components have 1 volts each
So UV= 0.5*(1+1+1)
UV= 0.5*(3)
UV= 1.5 volts
Thus user B's volt rating value is 1.5 volts if volt rating factor of 0.5 is configured, this configuration is done programmatically using a web based programming language.
